Video game vinyl manufacturer Laced Records has released a new collaboration collection with Konami and Bloober Team, with a series of Silent Hill 2 vinyl soundtracks up for grabs. The collection features two six-record sets and two double-record sets, with deluxe, limited-edition, and exclusive editions. While the double-record sets are available for $42, the larger six-record collections are set at $155. Along with the additional tracks, the six-record sets will also include a special 32-page artbook with liner notes from Silent Hill 2 composer Akira Yamaoka. Whether the vinyl collection was inspired by the Silent Hill 2 jukebox puzzle remains a speculative point among fans, but players who are hoping to add a piece of the game to their real-world collections may want to check out the limited-edition vinyls.

Players wanting to add one of the six-record sets to their collections can choose between the Silent Hill 2 Deluxe X6LP Boxset or the Silent Hill 2 Limited Edition Deluxe X6LP Boxset. The tracks, cover art, slipcases, inner sleeves, and art books are the same, with the only major difference being the standard black vinyl color for the Deluxe Boxset, while the Limited Edition set has reddish brown vinyls that look like rotting flesh. Similarly, the only difference between the double-record sets is the standard black vinyls of the Silent Hill 2 Deluxe Double Vinyl and "milky white" records included in the Silent Hill 2 Exclusive Edition Deluxe Double Vinyl set.
