Silent Hill 2 Remake is finally out, and players follow the story of James Sunderland as he looks for his wife. Players with the Digital Deluxe Edition have already started playing the game early. As players explore the eerie town of Silent Hill, filled with mysterious fog, they will come across multiple dimly lit areas.
These areas might have items to interact with, increasing the need for a flashlight. Luckily, the game provides a Flashlight as an Equipment fairly early on. This guide includes all the details on how to find the Flashlight.
Silent Hill 2 Remake Review
The Silent Hill 2 remake is an incredible horror gaming experience that successfully expands on the beloved original.
How To Get A Flashlight In Silent Hill 2 Remake
After acquiring the Wood Side Apartments Key, players interested in Silent Hill games with great combat can either choose to deal with the numerous enemies surrounding James or head towards the dumpsters to find a path that leads back to the right of Martin Street. Open your map to locate the Apartments and head to it. Once you head inside, look for a map of each floor on the board next to the counter. You can save your game from the Save Point inside the Reception Office.
After saving your game, head up to the second floor, where you will hear a noise from Apartment 202. Head inside the room to find multiple mannequins and a Health Drink inside one of the cabinets on your left.
The mannequin in the middle has a Flashlight tied around its neck. Interact with it to acquire the Flashlight, which can be toggled on and off using the "R3" button on PlayStation. Be careful because as soon as you pick up the Flashlight, a new enemy with legs on top of its lower body will attack you.
The Flashlight does not need batteries to run, so you can always use it without worrying about turning it off.
