How to Increase Max Health, Stamina, Sanity, and Omamori Slots in Silent Hill f (Character Upgrades)

Players will need to find Ema tablets scattered around different locations to upgrade Hinako's abilities (stats) in Silent Hill f. There are a total of 22 Ema tablets that you'll be able to find and invest in four basic stats in the game: Health, Stamina, Sanity, and Omamori Slots. These can be found across both standard and New Game+ walkthroughs.

Here's where players can find their first Ema for a character upgrade in Silent Hill f.

The first Ema tablet can be found when players complete the Corridors section and teleport back to Ebisugaoka town. To find it, head straight down the main street towards the east and turn left into the alley with the light bulb. This is a similar route to finding the Shoulder Bag to increase storage space, but instead of heading to the open area, you'll need to head right.

Follow the directions marked on the map above until you come across a construction site. Make sure to grab the items inside the area, and then turn right, down the street.

Keep following the street until you come across a hut on the left with some rice straw bundles in front of it. Move closer to the door, and you'll spot an Ema tablet sitting over a cement column atop a straw basket. You can pick up the Ema tablet to later use at a Hokora shrine to invest in Hinako's stats.

Using Ema for Character Upgrades in Pray Menu Silent Hill f

To upgrade max health, stamina, sanity, and Omamori Slots, players can simply visit a Hokora and head to the "Pray" menu. Here, they can select individual stats to increase using an Ema tablet. Players will also need to spend some Faith to complete the upgrade, which can be acquired by offering items like consumables at the Shrine in Silent Hill f.
