Some quests in Silksong require players to donate a certain amount of currency, rescue a lost NPC out in Pharloom, or collect a number of unique quest items to fulfill a Wish. The Fine Pins quest is of this latter variety. Picked up in Songclave in Silksong, Fine Pins challenges players to find 10 Fine Pins within the Citadel.
Hollow Knight: Silksong - Interactive Map (Pharloom)
Our interactive map for Pharloom in Hollow Knight: Silksong. All the skills, tools, benches, and more found in the game.
To get Fine Pins, Silksong players must look for two specific enemies that wield them, both of which can be farmed within the same convenient location. Follow this guide to learn how to start Fine Pins, where to find Fine Pins for the quest, and what you get for completing this quest in Silksong.
Where Does The Fine Pins Quest Start?
Players can pick up the Fine Pins wish in Songclave in the top-right of the Citadel, which is unlocked after beating the Last Judge and progressing to Act 2. You must ring the Grand Bell in the unnamed location highlighted on the map above to turn it into Songclave when you return.
Then, pick up the Fine Pins quest from the Wishwall that spawns to the right of the Caretaker.

How To Complete the Fine Pins Quest in Songclave
To find Fine Pins, Silksong players must defeat enemies throughout the Citadel that wield these specific types of weapons. Fine Pins are silver in color and thin, and are wielded by two enemy types in the nearby areas of the Citadel: Reed and Choristor.
|
|
The Reed enemy is a flying Disciple of the Choir wearing a white mask and gold breastplate. Reed enemies are some of the most annoying Disciple-type enemies in the Citadel because of their flight, ability to throw their pin at Hornet, and their rapid diving and thrusting attacks. |
|
|
The Choristor enemy is a Disciple-type enemy with a white mask and a grey cape. This enemy can't fly, but it can surprise players with its relatively long-range stabs and jumping attacks. |
The best place to farm Fine Pins in Silksong is the tall room to the left of the Grand Bellway in the Choral Chambers sub-zone of the Citadel. A Choristor enemy spawns on the bottom floor right next to the Bell Beast Station exit, and a Reed enemy can be found flying not too far above.
Fine Pins are not a guaranteed drop. It appears to be about a 50/50 chance whether one of these two enemies will drop Fine Pins – you may have to kill more than 10 Reed and Choristor enemies to complete this Wish. Unlike some other quest items, you have to stand next to a dropped Fine Pin and interact with it to pick it up.
Fine Pins will be destroyed if they touch a damaging surface like spikes, so be sure to lure enemies away from spikes before you deal the killing blow.
