The Red Tools in Hollow Knight: Silksong act as additional combat accessories that players can use during exploration or enemy encounters. Some can be defined as long-ranged projectiles, while some can be placed as traps even before the boss fight begins to prepare oneself properly for the fight.

The Quick Sling is also a Blue Tool that players can unlock during the second act of the game. The guide below includes the location of the tool and how players should use it in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

How to Get Quick Sling in Silksong

To get the Quick Sling, players must first reach Act 2 and acquire the double jump ability located at the top of Mount Fay. This is an extremely challenging platforming section that will take up quite a lot of time to complete, but once you have the double jump on you, exploration and future platforming sections will be much easier.

Sinner's Road Map Location Silksong

Your next task is to Sinner's Road, which is accessible from the top right part of Greymoor but requires the wall jump ability unlocked in Shellwood. From the entrance of Sinner's Road, make your way up and head right when you spot the first enemy.

Be careful of the maggot's water, as falling into it can poison you, restricting you from Binding to heal. However, using a bind will remove the maggots from you.

How to Get Quick Sling in Silksong 1

Head up the cages and down slash the spiked wheels to get to the top left section of the room and exit it. Go up and leave through the path on the right until you reach the lever that opens up the gate. Head into the tower-like room and head right to find a breakable wall, which gives you access to Bilewater. Keep following the path until you spot a path leading up and one leading to the right. The path on the right leads to a Needolin door with the Ruined Tool inside, so pick that up if you want and go up and turn left at the top.

Follow the left path, and when you reach the vertical room, go up and enter the second passage on your right. The first right passage leads to Shakra with the map, so definitely go there if you have the Rosaries on you. Once inside the second passage, go further right and go up to find a breakable wall that leads to the Quick Sling tool.

How Does It Work & Is It Worth It in Silksong?

How Does Quick Sling Work in Silksong

The Quick Sling is a Blue tool that allows you to use two Red Tools at once. This means that when you are trying to spawn one Cogfly, you will now spawn two with one action. However, since two things are being spawned at once, you will also lose two tools. This is extremely good for some tools like the Conchcutter, Cogfly, Longpin, and more. Whereas using it for tools like the Sting Shard would make both of them clash with each other and scatter before the boss approaches the trap.

The Quick Sling is not that good for exploration because it takes up a slot, and you do not really need to launch two tools at once at any normal enemies in the game, unless it is an Arena section. Equipping this tool during farming for Rosaries and Shell Shards is also not the best option, because you will be wasting a lot of Shell Shards in cases where a single tool usage would be more than enough.
