Sands of Karak in Hollow Knight: Silksong is a location accessible later in the second act. How to Reach Sands of Karak in Silksong

To get to the Sands of Karak, your first requirement is to acquire the Clawline ability, located inside the eastern part of Underworks, which you can access through Whiteward. Once you have the ability, make your way to the Bellway Station in Blasted Steps, head right, and then down. Float throughout the fall and stay near the left wall. The first passage you come across on the left will lead you to an area where you will face the Great Conchflies. This is a duo boss fight where you will have to look out for where the bosses are coming from and dodge both of them while attacking whenever they pop up.

Head left of the boss arena after the fight is done, and you will have a small section where you can basically glide all the way to the right and reach the hut where the Pinstress resides. You can talk to the Pinstress to acquire the Needle Strike ability and then head left to find a grapple point you can harpoon at. Keep using your Clawline to make your way up, and you will have to go through the passage on the top left. Make your way up now, being mindful of the bugs on the wall as they deal two mask damage. As you progress further, you will reach the Sands of Karak.

In this area, hit the yellow ball, which will cause platforms to appear in front of you, as well as corals that you can down slash to make your way forward. After the second yellow ball, you will notice the platforms are forming to the right and to the top left corner as well. The top left corner leads to a Memory Locket that you can pick up to increase the slots on your Crest.

Head right, and you will have to jump, float, and then harpoon to the wall, where you will find the yellow ball on top. Hit the ball and go down as the platforms form on the left. There is a Stalactite in the room before the map that you can attack a few times and break, which drops down and opens up a path that leads back to the Bellway Station in Blasted Steps. This is a much better runback option for the upcoming bosses in this area.
