When The Sims 4 was released, it contained a number of careers, which are now named base game careers. Every now and then, Expansion Packs will be released along with new jobs, like Get To Work. However, it's not for free. Fortunately, though, Astronaut is a free and very challenging career.

Players need to constantly keep their Sims Focused or Energized for very long shifts. Also, it's quite expensive because later on, it's required to explore space. This can only be done by building a rocket ship which costs a lot of Simoleons in The Sims 4. But no worries, as Simmers advance in this job, they will be rewarded with highly-priced objects.

To begin working in a certain career, all players need to do is head to the phone and select Find a Job in the Work Category (resembles a suitcase). An easier option would be to open the Career Panel in the bottom right corner and press Find a Job. A list of all possible jobs will open and Simmers have to choose the Astronaut career. After completing the seventh level in the Astronaut career, it will branch into two paths; Space Ranger and Interstellar Smuggler.

Space Ranger:

The best mood for this job would be Energized, but sadly, the rewarded items yield the Confident state instead. Luckily, though, producing Space Energy Drink can help make the Sim Energized.

If it's in the green area and all the daily and promotion tasks have been completed, then their performance is great, and a promotion is on its way.
