The Sims 4 is an exciting game that allows players to unleash their creativity. From customizing the appearance of their Sims to designing homes for them, gamers have everything in their hands. Being a life sim, pregnancy is a vital aspect of The Sims 4, and Sims can get pregnant by engaging in Woohoo.
When it comes to pregnancy, the default pregnancy outcome is usually a single baby, and twins or triplets are relatively rare. However, there are a few tips that players can follow to increase the likelihood of having triplets. Continue reading to learn how to have triplets in The Sims 4.
How to Have Triplets Sims in The Sims 4
In the base game, pregnancies do result in twins and triplets at times, but the chances of that happening are as low as in real life. In the game, there is an 89% chance of having a single baby, a 10% chance of having twins, and just a 1% chance for triplets. In order to conceive multiples, players can take certain measures and influence the outcome.
Use the Fertile Reward Trait
In The Sims 4, the only method that boosts the chances of having triplets is to buy the Fertile trait. Go to the reward store to get the "Fertile" reward trait for 3,000 satisfaction points. If players are low on satisfaction points, they can earn them by completing Whims or using the following cheat: sims.give.satisfaction_points x (desired number of satisfaction points).
Use Cheats
If players are comfortable using cheats to have triplets, they can achieve their goal conveniently. The first step to use cheats in The Sims 4 is to find the ID of the pregnant Sim. Press Ctrl+Shift+C to open the console and type "sims.get_sim_id_by_name (enter Sim's name here)." This will reveal the unique ID of the Sim in question. It's important to remember that this number cannot be copied, so players will have to note it down somewhere.
After finding the Sim’s ID, players need to activate cheats. For this purpose, type the code "testingcheats true" in the cheat box. With cheats enabled, players can apply any cheat code. Type "pregnancy.force_offspring_count (Sim ID here)(3)" to create triplets.
Players can input any number ranging from one to seven. However, since The Sims 4 limits households to a total of eight members, players can have as many as six babies from a single pregnancy.
The Sims 4 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
