Leaks are commonplace for The Sims 4, but one leaked feature in the game’s next Expansion Pack may be a better fit for its competitor InZOI. Even when the game was first announced, players and critics alike have compared InZOI to The Sims franchise. The theme of this alleged new pack may seem like an addition InZOI would not be able to currently add or take inspiration from. But the pack’s features certainly aren’t off the table for the new life simulation game.
Many leaks for The Sims 4’s DLC have occurred due to accidental listings on online storefronts. In some cases, leaks have been as innocuous as a title drop or a few promo images. But the worst-case scenario has resulted in features being leaked on top of the pack’s title and gameplay images. Such was the case with this leaked pack. But EA has revealed a Summer Roadmap for The Sims franchise, with a new roadmap for The Sims 4 outlining June through August, and the official reveal for the Enchanted by Nature pack is set to debut on June 12.
The Sims 4 Could Be Stealing Disney Dreamlight Valley's Thunder if Rumors Are True
A leak surrounding The Sims 4's next expansion suggests that the franchise may beat Disney Dreamlight Valley to the punch on one fan request.
The Leaked Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack for The Sims 4
As mentioned, the upcoming Expansion Pack for The Sims 4 followed in the footsteps of previous leaks when it was accidentally revealed on Instant Gaming. With the release of The Sims 4's summer roadmap, players can now expect The Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack to launch on July 10, 2025. Some of the pack’s leaked features include a new Natural Living skill, potion crafting, the Naturopath career route, apothecaries, and most exciting of all, the return of the Fairy Occult type. Fairies have been a long-time request by Simmers for The Sims 4, as they were last included in the franchise over ten years ago in The Sims 3: Supernatural.
Additionally, The Sims 4 is currently hosting the Nature’s Calling Event, where players can earn new Build and Buy and Create-a-Sim items like a Reclaimed Woodworking Table, Flowing Fronds Swimwear, and even a new Nature Soundscapes radio station. With more information on upcoming features for The Sims 4 coming soon, the Nature’s Calling Event certainly isn’t a coincidence, and the Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack will soon be a reality. Though InZOI has largely focused on realism, this somewhat supernatural Sims 4 Expansion Pack could serve as inspiration for InZOI to expand one of its existing features.
InZOI Could Copy The Sims 4's Apothecary Table
As mentioned, apothecaries will allegedly be an important part of the Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack. One item specifically mentioned in the leak is a new apothecary table. This table can be used to cure various illnesses, with the new table necessary to build skills and progress in the pack’s new career path. InZOI has taken a much less mystical approach to health. Sick Zois must locate a first-aid kit in order to obtain medicine and recover from illnesses.
Rather than completely diving into the fantastical elements of the Enchanted by Nature pack, InZOI could introduce a new twist on the first-aid kit by taking inspiration from the apothecary table. This new gameplay item could be more interactive with players crafting and creating remedies rather than simply finding and using them.
Perhaps an apothecary table could also feature exclusive gameplay, such as crafting vitamins and supplements, which Zois could take to prevent illness. Specific vitamins and supplements could be tied to specific illnesses, with warning symptoms occurring to let players know their Zoi was about to be sick with the flu, a cold, and so forth. Taking these supplements early enough to prevent these symptoms could make Zois not actually fall ill. Regardless, it’s clear that The Sims 4 is bringing more DLC to the table that maintains the gap between the long-running franchise and InZOI. One of the best solutions to this issue is for InZOI to innovate upon The Sims 4’s content and this new apothecary table is just one way the simulation game could attempt this.
