One The Sims 4 player has recreated Conch Street in the game, making convincing replicas of SpongeBob’s pineapple, Squidward’s Easter Island head, and Patrick’s rock. While players often create impressive builds in The Sims 4, this SpongeBob SquarePants fan’s attention to detail earned particular praise from the online community.

It might be hard to believe, but SpongeBob SquarePants is over 25 years old. What started out as an animated cartoon starring a yellow sponge and his nautical neighbors in Bikini Bottom has gained incredible popularity over the years. As a result, the Nickelodeon show has branched out to include movies, merchandise, and even original video games. For example, Titans of the Tide was released in November, bringing a new platforming adventure featuring SpongeBob and Patrick to consoles and PC. While players have lots of options when looking for official SpongeBob SquarePants games, numerous fans love to create homages to Bikini Bottom and its residents in other titles.

Here is everything that players need to know about the Deck the Palms in The Sims 4 so they can make sure that they're for it once it begins.

SpongeBob SquarePants Fan Recreates Conch Street in The Sims 4

One of these fans is alannah214, who shared their SpongeBob build that they created in The Sims 4. Specifically, the player recreated the iconic Conch Street from the game, including the pineapple, Easter Island head, and rock. Each of the homes featured an exterior design that mirrored the look of its cartoon counterparts. For instance, SpongeBob’s pineapple featured a smokestack and green leaves on top, along with windows and an iron door. Humorously, alannah214 included Patrick standing outside his rock and SpongeBob running on the street to give the scene some life. These items were part of new Sims 4 kits themed after SpongeBob SquarePants. The Reddit user even used a “Debug item sized up a ton of times” to help create a background befitting of the undersea world.

While recreating the exteriors of SpongeBob’s, Squidward’s, and Patrick’s homes was already impressive, alannah214 went further by fully furnishing the interiors. As seen in the screenshots, the various rooms featured in different episodes were included in the build. In SpongeBob’s case, places like the library, workout room, kitchen, bedroom, and living room were replicated. There was even a garage that included the iconic Patty Wagon from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.

Beyond SpongeBob’s pineapple, alannah214 included the more sophisticated layout of Squidward’s Easter Island head, replete with some of his iconic paintings. Notably, the building included his art room, which featured the character playing their clarinet. Patrick’s rock was also recreated in The Sims 4. While the starfish’s humble abode is much smaller, alannah214 still managed to capture the essence of the place from the cartoon series. It is worth noting that this Sims 4 player paid homage to several other places from classic SpongeBob episodes, including the iconic boulder, also known as a rock, from “Pizza Delivery.”

So far, the reception to this accurate SpongeBob build has been overwhelmingly positive on Reddit. With more than 2.9K upvotes, users have complimented alannah214 on the finished design and pointed out how they mostly got the dimensions right. The creator even revealed that the build is called "Conch Street - Spongebob" and can be found in The Gallery. It should be pointed out that Sims 4 players who want to try their own SpongeBob-themed builds can still purchase the official kits. While many Sims 4 players are unhappy with the SpongeBob kits, others are using the items to make some impressive creations.

This new build in The Sims 4 is only one of the recreations of Bikini Bottom that have been shared on the internet. Previously, one gamer used their creativity to make a truly underwater version of SpongeBob’s street in No Man’s Sky. With the Nickelodeon cartoon gearing up for a new movie in 2026, it seems like the character and his friends will be around for years to come. Time will tell which game will feature the next player-created homage.
