Manual Beleaf is a challenge that can be found in Skate's Hedgemont neighborhood. To complete all the goals in this challenge, players must put together a tricky sequence that centers around two manuals, a flip trick, and a 180 spin. This guide is here to explain how to perform that sequence, and it will help players fully address the Manual Beleaf challenge in Skate.

This is one of the trickier challenges in Skate's first neighborhood, and it may take players numerous attempts to put everything detailed in this guide into action.

Skate 4 Manual Beleaf Challenge Strategy

While there are several ways to approach this challenge, it is recommended that Skate players who are struggling with Manual Beleaf try this:

  1. Start at the marker.
  2. Hold the left joystick forward and release it as soon as the skater has pushed four times.
  3. Flick the right joystick up and diagonally left to kickflip onto the first platform.
  4. Immediately after the kickflip has registered (a yellow arrow appears in the circle at the bottom of the screen), hold the right joystick very slightly downward. The joystick needs to be in this position before the skater hits the first platform so that they land in a manual.
  5. Flick the right joystick up to ollie from the first platform to the second.
  6. Immediately after the ollie has registered, hold the right joystick very slightly downward. Once again, the joystick needs to be in this position before hitting the second platform to land in a manual.
  7. Flick the right joystick up and diagonally left while also holding the left joystick to the left to 180 kickflip off the second platform.

Skate 4 Manual Beleaf Challenge Tips

There are a couple issues that players may run into when trying to execute the aforementioned strategy. Here are some tips that should help players deal with those issues:

Landing in a Manual

If a player is finding it difficult to land in a manual, they should try focusing their eyes primarily on the circle at the bottom of the screen. This tactic makes it easy to know exactly when the kickflip and ollie that are used to get onto the platforms have registered, allowing Skate fans to put the right joystick into the slight downward position as soon as the yellow arrows appear.

Maintaining Speed

If a player is struggling to maintain enough speed to ollie from the first platform to the second, they may be pressing the right joystick down too far when attempting to land in a manual. As has been noted, the right joystick should really be pushed very slightly downward, and players should aim to have the indicator at the bottom of the screen just beneath the perimeter of the interior circle. Again, putting more focus on the bottom circle is a good way to address this issue.
