How To Unlock Vampire Seduction

Since Vampirism is considered a disease and blood dulls the symptoms, hunger is the engine of evolution for every vampire. Therefore, it is not surprising that to unlock Vampire Seduction in Skyrim, the Dragonborn needs to reach stage two of Vampirism. To accomplish this, you must go at least 24 hours without consuming the blood of your victims. Following this, the hunger will awaken new skills in you that will help during the hunt.

The good news is that you don't have to spend 24 in-game hours actively playing. You can skip this period through the usual time skip mechanics. After that, you can find the Vampire Seduction ability in the Powers - Vampire Lord tabs. Equip it, and use it like any other skill.

However, there are a few exceptions or situations in which fulfilling the requirements will not lead to unlocking the ability:

Firstly, if you have just become a vampire, you are at stage zero, and hunger will not reveal hidden skills. Spend several days as a newbie vampire without denying yourself food. Repeat the steps described above after a couple of days, after which you will unlock the desired skill.
The second reason could be too many modifications in your game. Unfortunately, not all mechanics can coexist without harming each other. Therefore, sometimes the only way to unlock Vampire Seduction is with the console command: player.addspell 000C4DE2.

How To Use Vampire Seduction

Once you have completed all the unlocking requirements and equipped Vampire Seduction, you need to find a suitable victim. Under normal conditions, your target's level should not exceed 10. Otherwise, the ability will fail. But if you succeed, you will calm the target for 30 seconds. Your victim will lose any motivation to take any action, regardless of whether it is an NPC or an enemy creature.

The scope of the Vampire Seduction skill is almost limitless. For example, you can calm down one enemy and focus on fighting another. But if you want to expand the range of uses of this skill, you should get several perks:

Enemies such as Undead, Daedra, and Automatons are immune to Vampire Seduction. But the Master of the Mind perk in the Illusion skill tree will help fix this.
In addition, using perks such as Hypnotic Gaze or Kindred Mage (also Illusion perks) can increase the level of potential victims from 10 to 20.
