Pickpocketing is a very useful skill to use in Skyrim. Players who plan on joining the Thieves Guild can make a lot of gold easily by doing fishing jobs for them. This skill goes hand in hand with sneaking, so fans should always be crouching around enemies to train. The Dragonborn can also use alchemy to create Potions of Fortify Pickpocket.
These potions will increase the pickpocket skill temporarily. Players can drink the potion then steal items with higher percentage chances. How To Make Potions
Potions can be made at every Alchemy Table in Skyrim. Players will find these tables at apothecary vendors, inns, and Jarl holds. Alchemy tables can also be bought and placed in the Dragonborn's home. Speak with the steward in a city with an owned home and ask about decorations to purchase one.
Potions are made by combining two or three ingredients. Each ingredient holds four different properties. Combining two ingredients with the same property will create a potion with the same effect. Potions can also have negative effects depending on the ingredients. Try out different combinations to make the perfect potion. Each time players combine items the alchemy skill will raise slightly. Stronger potions are a result of a higher alchemy skill. All ingredients can be found by exploring Skyrim. Ingredients can be bought at apothecaries, but some are rarer than others. Wait a few hours to cycle store inventories.

These are blue dragonflies that can be caught flying around rivers. Search the marshes of Hjaalmarch near Morthal. Many can spawn in the area surrounding the Apprentice Stone. Three guaranteed samples are located in Lund's Hut northwest of Rorikstead. |
