The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is one of the most popular games of all time. It’s still being played over ten years after its release in 2011, and Bethesda regularly releases the game with various bonuses to attract new fans. The massive modding community for Skyrim probably helped in maintaining its longevity.

Skyrim mods allow fans to fully customize their experience. Some are focused on overhauling the visuals and adding new features that drastically change the gameplay. Other Skyrim mods are more content-driven, as fans can extend their playtime by downloading new quests, items, characters, and locations. One Skyrim player installed a mod that added various animals, but they probably didn’t expect to come face to face with a raging bull.

A user named Warp_Legion shared a clip of a modded version of Skyrim, which opens with them being sent flying by a bull. The player gets up and has very little time to react as the bull charges toward them, hits them again, and tosses them further away. This hilarious clip doesn’t end there, as the bull sends them flying a third time, not giving Warp_Legion a single moment to collect themselves and assess the situation.

The background music makes it seem like the player is having an epic encounter with an ancient enemy, but they are just being thrown around by a modded bull. Warp_Legion believes that this bull belongs to the Beasts of Tamriel mod, which adds many new creatures and monsters to Skyrim. The creator of this mod is known as Milhail, who has made several other mods that add various animals to Skyrim. Players recommend searching for Milhail in the mods menu to see the complete list, although Warp_Legion mentions that only Beasts of Skyrim feels like it fits in Skyrim’s world.

Many users state that they can’t stop laughing at the video, with one jokingly mentioning that the player was fully dressed in red and should have expected this outcome as soon as they saw the bull. One user wonders if Warp_Legion will be able to get out of this loop, as the bull doesn’t give them any time to take a break. These animations usually play whenever someone is sent flying by a Giant, so one Skyrim player decided to use a modded club that sends the Giants flying.

This is one of many examples of how mods have transformed the gameplay experience in interesting ways. As another example, one Skyrim mod turns the game into Star Wars, complete with Lightsabers, Stormtroopers, and the iconic music from Star Wars. Fans can probably find similar mods for their favorite multimedia franchise.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
