A Skyrim player manages to take out a huge group of guards using just a single shout. Dragon shouts play a key role in the world of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, and gamers will unlock a wide variety of shouts over the course of their playthroughs.

There are many useful dragon shouts in Skyrim, each offering unique benefits and bonuses to the Dragonborn. As an example, gamers can use the Become Ethereal shout to negate all sources of damage, while Whirlwind Sprint allows users to rush forward. While many of these shouts can greatly help players during combat scenarios, some of them are also utilized to solve puzzles. Now, one Skyrim fan uses a dragon shout to take out a huge group of guards all at once.

A Reddit user named 2022-worst-year-ever has shared a funny clip from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, showing that they are getting chased by a huge group of guards. The player climbs up to the level above, in order to position all the guards on the set of stairs, before jumping back down to the bottom end of the staircase. With this huge group of guards constantly shooting arrows, the player then uses the Unrelenting Force dragon shout in Skyrim, hitting all of them with a single move.

This attack pushes back the huge group of guards up the set of stairs, while a few of them are sent flying over a nearby tower. The Reddit poster claims that this is the highest number of guards they have used Unrelenting Force on while playing The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, with not a single one left standing due to the impact of the dragon shout.

Many users in the comments section make note of the guards that went flying away, with some users making comparisons to the zombies game mode from the Call of Duty franchise. One gamer claims that the city of Markarth will have even more guards for this tactic, while another user comments on the funny ragdoll physics of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

Fans should note that it’s possible to upgrade the Unrelenting Force dragon shout with mods, making it even more powerful. A specific mod increases its knockback effect, as one player used this Skyrim shout to throw an enemy far into the distance, with their body repeatedly flipping in the air as a result of the added power.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Edition is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
