There's always something interesting going on in the world of Skyrim, and a player is left confused after encountering the aftermath of what could have been the best street party ever. While there's much joy to be had in this wintry slice of Tamriel, there is a lot of disturbing content in Skyrim. The game's violence alone can be brutal and bloody, but that doesn't mean there aren't some amusing goings-on to offset such barbarity, even if the scene asks more questions than it answers.
It's also hardly surprising that Skyrim is still getting a lot of attention, even after 11 years. With The Elder Scrolls 6's release date still a mystery, despite the long-awaited game being teased back in 2018, that's left an open goal for the most recent mainline entry, which continues to stay in the spotlight. With plenty of mods and newcomers joining the RPG party all the time, the longevity of TES5 is assured, at least for a while longer.
Speaking of parties, Reddit user Draconian2022 thinks they may have come across the aftermath of one. In a recent post, they uploaded a screenshot from their Skyrim playthrough which shows a slew of supine and semi-naked bodies lying on the ground in the middle of the street. With no signs of aggression and no bottles of poison to be found, the user is left to conclude that it must have been one crazy event. Of course, there's no way to know for sure exactly what went down, so the scene could be depicting some mysterious post-battle. Still, others commenting seem to feel it may have been some crazy social gathering, possibly with some Alto Wine.
In any case, it shows that there are some weird things that go on in Skyrim. It's entirely possible that it could be due to some bug or perhaps Draconian2022 isn't telling the whole story, but what's clear is that Elder Scrolls fans are still sharing their experiences with this decade-old RPG.
It's things like this that are the reason Skyrim is one of the most immersive games around. It may have aged as the years have gone by, not to mention being notorious for its many bugs, but the open world setting, immense lore, and the breathtaking vistas can still pull in players after all these years. There's no telling what players will come across next, but TES6 is going to have to do a lot of work to match the fifth entry's legendary status.
Skyrim is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
