There is a task near the end of Sniper Elite: Resistance's second mission, Dead Drop, that instructs players to locate the tunnel entrance in the Library Gardens. While the area within which the tunnel entrance can be found is marked on the in-game map, some fans may still struggle to locate it. This guide is written with those players in mind, and it explains how to locate the tunnel entrance in the Library Gardens in Sniper Elite: Resistance.

Players who want just a small nudge in the right direction are advised to turn their attention to any doors that fall within the search area.

Sniper Elite Resistance: Locate the Tunnel Entrance in the Library Garden

Go to the Library Garden

The Library is located in the top-right corner of the map in Sniper Elite: Resistance's second mission, and the gardens that players must search are directly in front of that building. While the Library Gardens will be circled on the in-game map as soon as players are instructed to locate the tunnel entrance, their position has been marked on the following map for the sake of full clarity.

There is an objective in Mission 2 that tasks players with finding stolen Resistance files in the Library. While it is not mandatory that fans address that task, they may want to do so while they are in the area.

Check the Hexagonal Structure

There is a six-sided building sitting directly in front of the Library's entrance, and there is a dark-brown door on its west side. While it may not be obvious that players can open that door, it is actually possible for them to do so. Indeed, fans of sniper games will receive an "Open" prompt as they approach the door, and they should press the associated input to perform that action.

Players may notice that the distance that is listed next to the objective counts down to zero as they approach the aforementioned door. Fans should keep this phenomenon in mind as they continue working through missions, as it can be useful when attempting to home in on a specific item or location.

Players have now located the tunnel entrance in the Library Gardens, and they should descend the stairs and follow the in-game waypoint to find Vertigo. This finding marks the end of the "Find and Make Contact with Vertigo" mission objective, and fans of stealth games can now focus their efforts on exfiltration. Fortunately, locating an exfiltration point is much easier than locating the tunnel entrance, and there are several of them in the vicinity of the Library.

The easiest time to explore a level in Sniper Elite: Resistance is typically at the end of a mission, as players are likely to have dispatched at least some number of enemies. As such, fans who are attempting to find every collectible in Dead Drop may want to look for them before they exfiltrate.
