So far, Sung Jinwoo’s strongest opponent in the Solo Leveling anime is the Ant King. As fans know, the Ant King put up a decent fight against Jinwoo, despite the obvious power difference between them in Season 2. The Ant King was one of the first who was able to hold their ground against Jinwoo, fighting toe-to-toe with him for a while. It’s an impressive feat that only a few can achieve, considering Jinwoo’s monstrous powers and rapid growth in battle.

While the Ant King was a force of nature, the terrifying creature ended up losing the fight on Jeju Island. His overall strength was not enough to overpower and outpace Jinwoo, resulting in his untimely demise. In the end, Jinwoo defeated the Ant King and turned him into one of his most powerful commanders in the shadow army, Beru.

While the Ant King’s powers are leagues above many S-rank hunters from Korea and Japan, they don’t compare to the Architect of the system. Many fans, especially those who have completed the Solo Leveling manhwa, can attest to the Architect’s terrifying strength and abilities that are far superior to the Ant King. If it came down to a fight, there’s no telling how ruthless and quick the Architect could be to put the Ant King in his rightful place.

Aside from being one of the strongest characters, the Architect is also one of the most mysterious. While the Architect created the system that guides Jinwoo’s growth, his real intention was to use Jinwoo for something else. However, fans know that messing with Jinwoo, especially by using him, won’t end nicely. In fact, anyone who goes against Jinwoo ends up losing their lives, and fans know that won’t change anytime soon, even if it is someone like the Architect.

Going back to the Ant King, the terrifying creature demonstrated just how powerful he was in his battle against Jinwoo. He had everything, from immense strength, speed, and durability, not to mention his gluttony ability was completely on a different level. In addition, he also possessed human-level intelligence, which made him more dangerous than the rest of the monsters in Solo Leveling.

But despite all that muscle, the Ant King is nowhere near the Architect when it comes to strength and skillset. In fact, the Architect put up a better fight against Jinwoo than the Ant King and most of his previous enemies, showcasing not just his combat mastery but also his manipulative abilities. His wit and strategies are more calculated, making him stronger than the Ant King in almost all aspects.

The Architect’s appearance in the anime remains uncertain as long as Solo Leveling Season 3 is not yet confirmed. However, it’s not impossible to happen, considering the international success the series enjoys at the moment. Those who want to know what happens in the Architect’s fight against Jinwoo can simply turn to the manhwa while waiting for the official announcement of Solo Leveling Season 3.
