Solo Leveling: Arise introduces a dungeon mechanic, allowing players to complete specific short missions to gather crucial resources. This feature proves useful for players aiming to prioritize Rate Up and enhance the team's overall power, especially considering the potential constraints of Story Mode. However, Gates, despite their convenience, are restricted by Keys, special currency items that dictate the frequency of dungeon explorations per day. In this guide, Solo Leveling: Arise enthusiasts can discover strategies to surpass this limit and acquire additional Gate Keys, regardless of the game's restrictions.

What Are Gates in Solo Leveling: Arise?

the gates menu in solo leveling arise.

In Solo Leveling: Arise, Gates are farming dungeons. Players can engage directly in clearing them, involving defeating enemies and boss fights, or dispatch Hunters to automatically farm resources in previously cleared Gates.

Gates come in five types: Normal, Special, Red, Bonus, and Dungeon Breaks, each offering distinct features and rewards that differentiate them. Below is a table outlining the key differences between all Gates in Solo Leveling: Arise.

Gate Type

Besides their type, Gates are also categorized by rank. These range from the lowest rank, E, to the highest, S. Naturally, the higher the rank of a dungeon, the more challenging it becomes to clear, but it also promises better loot as a reward.

How Do You Get More Gate Keys?

a gate key in solo leveling arise.
  • Method #1: Exchange Essence Stone with Gate Keys.
  • Method #2: Wait for the Daily Replenishment, which refills Gate Keys.

In Solo Leveling: Arise, Gate Key is a token granting access to a dungeon. Currently, the sole method to acquire additional Gate Keys is by purchasing them from the in-game shop. For approximately 150 Essence Stones, players can procure a pack of Gate Keys, enabling them to continue exploring dungeons. However, Gate Keys also refresh every 24 hours, with a minimum of ten Keys added to each player's account. The maximum Gate Key capacity of players increases as they advance in rank.

However, they can surpass this limit by purchasing extra Keys. Nonetheless, there's a catch: the daily replenishment will only fill up the account's Gate Key capacity to its maximum, and any new Keys won't accumulate. For instance, if a player has 12 Gate Keys while their capacity is 10, the daily replenishment will disregard their account until the next cycle.

How Do Gate Keys Work?

Each time a player enters a dungeon, they expend one Key. In the event of failure, players can replay the dungeon without incurring another entrance fee. Once a dungeon is cleared, it becomes accessible in the Gate Mining menu, allowing players to automatically farm it using their Hunters. Although this process is slow, players can speed it up by utilizing currencies. Unused Gate Keys will be removed at the start of the next replenishment cycle, encouraging players to spend their tokens daily for faster leveling.

What Are Special Sweep Keys?

Sweep is an auto-battle feature within Solo Leveling: Arise's dungeon mode. When a player initiates a Sweep on a Gate, it is automatically cleared using their best Hunters formation. This mechanic becomes available after Chapter 6, Episode 6, enabling players to bypass lower-level dungeons.

Special Sweep Keys are distinct items designed for skipping dungeons irrespective of the player's team power. Unlike regular Sweep, which operates only when the team power exceeds that of the dungeon, a Special Sweep Key allows players to clear dungeons of all ranks regardless of their power level.
