While Beru leads the current shadow army when it comes to strength, he is nowhere close to Bellion, the first shadow of the original Shadow Monarch Ashborn, when he obtained the power of death. Manhwa fans who have read the Solo Leveling manhwa from start to end can attest to Bellion’s strength, which is leagues above the shadow of the Ant King. He is so powerful that his existence threatens humanity even without utilizing the full extent of his abilities.

Unlike Beru, Bellion boasts a shadow grade of Grand Marshal. His rank alone speaks volumes about his immense strength as well as the power difference between him and Beru. No shadow comes close to Bellion, which is expected, considering he was with Ashborn from day one. If there’s any shadow that deserves this level of power and strength, it must be Bellion.

Beru can also threaten humanity, but not in the same overwhelming way as Bellion. Sure, his greatest strength is tenacity, but Bellion is still superior. That is painfully true in the Solo Leveling manhwa, particularly in chapter 167. This is the deciding chapter where Bellion puts Beru in his place. Manhwa fans know Bellion defeated Beru in a solo match without breaking a sweat.

While Jinwoo thought Beru could stand a chance against Bellion, the latter neutralized the former’s attacks from start to finish. In other words, Beru doesn’t stand a chance against Bellion despite the latter being bigger. Bellion’s reflexes are completely on a different level, and every single strike from him trembles the earth beneath them. Just like that, Beru’s dreams of defeating Bellion shatter in an instant.

That said, the strongest shadow, Bellion, might show up in Solo Leveling Season 3, or later. Bellion's anime appearance depends on the story arcs and the number of chapters that will be animated next season. It’s not impossible for fans to see Bellion in Season 3, but they should still limit their expectations to avoid disappointment.
