The two are respected artists who have a lot of experience under their belt. However, none of their older projects come close to Solo Leveling in terms of popularity. So, there will be a certain level of pressure on them to perform to the highest degree.
Currently, details about the live-action adaptation are limited. However, it has been confirmed that the adaptation will be co-directed by Lee Hae-jun and Kim Byung-seo. The production will be handled by Kakao Entertainment and SANAI PICTURES.
