This article contains spoilers for Solo Leveling Ragnarok.
Solo Leveling fans have endured quite a disappointing few months, especially after the end of Season 2 of the anime. While the anime itself ended on a high note, fans didn't exactly get an announcement for Solo Leveling Season 3, and at the same time, the proposed waiting time for the next season is seemingly very long as well.
Say Hello To Solo Leveling's Replacement Anime For 2026
Solo Leveling season 3 isn't coming, but the series has a new replacement for 2026.
To make things worse, Solo Leveling’s sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, has now officially ended, and fans are, expectedly, sad. As things stand, the Solo Leveling story is now over, but there could be more that Solo Leveling has to offer to the fans.
Solo Leveling Ragnarok Has Finally Ended
- Chapter 375 Was The Last One
- Suho's Story Is Over
Fans of Solo Leveling know very well that while the original web novel and Manhwa for Solo Leveling have wrapped up, the story is technically continuing with Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. For those who are unaware, Solo Leveling Ragnarok is written by a different author, but the story is widely considered canon. Sadly, it doesn't feature Jinwoo as the main character. Instead, Jinwoo and Cha Hae-In's son, Sung Suho, is the main character, and while he's not exactly like his dad, he's every bit as impressive when it comes to delivering high-level combat and holds his own very well against his father as the protagonist of the story.
I use the system, and the system uses me. — Sung Jinwoo In Solo Leveling
Suho did an incredible job in the web novel for about 2 years now, and as fans know, Solo Leveling Ragnarok has now officially come to an end. This means Suho’s story has now wrapped up. Solo Leveling Ragnarok ended with Chapter 375, which is quite sad for all the fans. This ending was rather abrupt and not many fans were anticipating it at all. In fact, some even believe that the sudden ending of the manga is down to some external factors. Unfortunately, the truth won't be known. Regardless, this doesn't have to be the end of Solo Leveling and there is still potential for a continuation.
Sung Jinwoo Is Still Growing Stronger
Jinwoo Is Back On Earth
While Suho's story might be over, fans need to keep in mind that Sung Jinwoo still exists and he is actually back on earth now. Those who keep up with Solo Leveling Ragnarok know very well that Jinwoo didn't feature much in the story since he was not even on Earth. At the very end of the Manhwa, Jinwoo returns and fans even see him prepare for a date with Cha Hae-In. It is also made clear to the fans that the Shadow Monarch has actually been growing stronger and if there was ever any doubt, he's the strongest in the world right now. This in itself opens the door for Jinwoo's story to continue.
Solo Leveling Season 3 Could Get An Official Update Soon
Solo Leveling fans are left in the dust for season 3, but a big update might be coming soon.
Solo Leveling's Popularity Means The Main Story Needs To Continue
Another major factor for Solo Leveling's continuation could be its popularity. When Solo Leveling Ragnarok started, the original series didn't have an anime and while it was certainly famous, it wasn't anywhere close to the popularity it has achieved since. Given how attached fans are to Sung Jinwoo, right now might be a good idea to bring him back to the fold and expand his story, either while he was away, or after he returns. Either way, Solo Leveling's popularity might ensure the survival of the series.
Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes, and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while awaiting any more news concerning the third season. For fans who can’t wait for season 3 to come out, checking out the Manhwa might be a great option.
