While fans know a third season is coming, some are hopeful for a movie, which could cover some exciting events from the past, or many other interesting things in the world of Solo Leveling. If a Solo Leveling movie were to happen, fans want one of the most incredible dungeons in the story, the Kamish S-Rank Dungeon, which was more trouble than even Jeju Island, to be the focus of it.

The Kami’s S-Rank Dungeon Would Make For A Perfect Movie

Solo Leveling’s Season 2 recently ended after the airing of its finale, the 25th episode of the series, which saw the Jeju Island arc wrap up, and added some buildup for what’s to come next.

Between Solo Leveling Season 1 and Season 2, there was just a year-long gap. However, this doesn’t look to be the case for Season 2 and Season 3. In other words, it’s possible that Solo Leveling Season 3 will not be released in January 2026. There are a few reasons for that, with even the producer’s comment suggesting that, as well as the fact that the anime director is reportedly busy with other projects.

With Solo Leveling season 3 possibly dropping later than expected, fans wonder if it’s possible for the series to get a movie first. This would fill in the gap while fans wait for Season 3.

If Solo Leveling does get a movie, fans would love one covering the Kamish S-Rank Gate. For fans who aren’t familiar with the Manhwa, Kamish is a creature even stronger than the Ant King that Jinwoo recently defeated. Kamish was so powerful that it took 5 National Level Hunters to take him down. Kamish ended up destroying a big part of the West Coast in the USA, but eventually, it was taken down. In fact, many elements of Kamish will be very important in Solo Leveling moving forward, so if a movie was down on the Kamish Gate, fans would absolutely love it.

This movie would also perfectly introduce fans to the concept of National Level Hunters, who will go on to be very important in the plot moving forward It would showcase some of the other strongest characters in the series, with some other concepts as well, and fans would absolutely love it if that were to be the case.

Will Fans Get a Solo Leveling Movie Between Season 2 and Season 3?

It’s Unlikely, But Fans Can Still Hope

While fans would love to get a movie for Solo Leveling, the chances of it happening before Season 3 are close to none. A movie takes a lot of time to make, and so far, there has been no announcement, not even a single hint, that a movie is coming.

A movie for the Kamish S-Rank Gate Incident would be great, but the fact that Sung Jinwoo wouldn’t be present could also impact its performance, as he’s the favorite character. Still, it cannot be said that the chances of it happening are zero, and fans have clung to just that at the moment.

For now, fans can just hope that Solo Leveling Season 3 isn’t delayed too long and that it drops sometime in 2026, even if after January 2026, which appears to be the situation right now given the fact that an official announcement regarding Solo Leveling Season 3 hasn't come yet.
