Solo Leveling has reached new heights of fame in 2025. Solo Leveling: The Best Villains, Ranked
The Solo Leveling manhwa is full of complex, fascinating villains. These are the best that Sung Jinwoo finds himself up against.
In Solo Leveling Season 2, fans got to witness some of the most exciting arcs that the series had to offer, and it goes without saying that Jeju Island was the best of all. This arc featured Solo Leveling’s best fight yet, but the Manhwa and light novel have even bigger and better arcs in store for the fans. Solo Leveling’s next animated content could feature the next best arc of the series, and that's the Double Dungeon arc. Jinwoo will reach new heights and unlock a new power up, defeating even bigger enemies than the Ant King.
Jeju Island Was Great, But The Double Dungeon Arc Will Be Even Better
- Sung Jinwoo Is About To Return To Where It All Began
- Jinwoo Will Fight Tougher Fights
Solo Leveling Season 2 was absolutely phenomenal, and while the first half of the season was great, what really stood out was the second part, which covered the Jeju Island Arc.
The Jeju island arc is the most intense anime arc of the Solo Leveling series, and for many reasons. This arc saw the biggest gathering of S-Rank Hunters, both from Japan and Korea. Yet, all of these S-Rank Hunters were pretty much useless against the big enemy, the Ant King.
The Ant King killed almost all the Japanese S-Rank Hunters, and he also ended almost all the Koreans ones as well. Thankfully, however, Sung Jinwoo came to the rescue. What unfolded next was, undoubtedly, Solo Leveling’s best animated and most intense battle. As Jinwoo took on the Ant King, the story showcased just how incredible the combat it features is.
Solo Leveling: All Arcs That Will Be In Season 3
Solo Leveling's third season could be the biggest one to date.
While Jeju Island was tremendous, it will all pale in comparaison to the next big arc of the series, that is, the Double Dungeon Arc. The Double Dungeon arc will see Jinwoo return to where it all started, and there, he will face much bigger threats than the Ant King.
Jinwoo will have to battle the Architect of the system, Kandiaru. Kandiaru will actually be quite a difficult battle for Jinwoo, especially as he is stripped of his Shadow Army powers in that moment.
Jinwoo will have to get his biggest power up yet in the form of the Black Heart to win this battle. This will all be thanks to Ashborn, the previous Shadow Monarch. Not only will fans see a great battle, but the lore will reach newer heights that most fans couldn't even have dared to imagine. Solo Leveling is about the get deeper than ever before, and fans will definitely get to see a lot of exciting content soon.
The Double Dungeon Arc Could Be Adapted Into A Movie Or Be Included In Season 3
Solo Leveling fans are not certain about how the studio will handle the upcoming arcs of the series. Solo Leveling Season 3 has yet to be confirmed, so it goes without saying that there are doubts concerning the future of the franchise. Fans are left wondering when the Double Dungeon arc could finally be animated.
I am the record of your struggles, the evidence of your resistance, and the reward of your sufferings. I am death, I am eternal rest, I am terror. — Ashborn to Sung Jinwoo, Solo Leveling Manhwa
At the moment, Solo Leveling does seem to have a movie on the way, but whether it will just adapt the next Manhwa arc or if it will do its own thing is unclear. Either ways, fans are excited to see what else the series has in store for them, whether it’s the adaptation Double Dungeon arc, or even something else entirely. In the case for the former, fans should gear up for a spectacle the likes of which they've never seen before.
Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes, and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while awaiting any more news concerning the third season. There have been no major announcements about a third season so far. Fans can get more Solo Leveling content via the Manhwa.
