When the Ant King was introduced, it quickly became clear that he was no ordinary mutated ant or magical beast living within the confines of a dungeon. He did not look weak at all, as he had an aura so menacing that even the strongest S-rank hunters in Korea and Japan hesitated to face him. He moved with terrifying speed, and his intelligence made him nearly unstoppable.

Worse, the Ant King claimed multiple lives on Jeju Island in the blink of an eye. Even Japan’s strongest hunter, Goto Ryuji, could not do anything to harm him. The Korean hunters, on the other hand, had to work together but despite their efforts, they failed to deal any significant damage. This speaks volumes about the Ant King’s terrifying strength, as he was on a completely different level than anyone else, except Jin-Woo.

He would have turned the fourth Jeju Island raid into a bloody massacre.

The Architect of the System Will Push Jin-Woo to His Limits

Sung Jin-Woo is set to return to the double dungeon, where everything began for him. The double dungeon, often referred to as the Cartenon Temple, was the terrifying place where giant statues, including the Statue of God, are located. Fans are excited to see Jin-Woo's return to Cartenon Temple, as this time, he will no longer be the helpless E-rank hunter facing certain death.

However, the Cartenon Temple has a hidden boss, and Jin-Woo will soon learn that it’s none other than Kandiaru, the moderator and architect of the system that turned Jin-Woo into its lone player. He is different from any other opponent Jin-Woo has faced in Seasons 1 and 2, as he’s neither a magical beast nor a corrupted hunter. Instead, Kandiaru is a master manipulator who wants nothing but to turn Jin-Woo into a complete vessel for the Shadow Monarch.

He is leagues above the Ant King in all respects, from speed and strength to intelligence. And most surprisingly, he can also use abilities similar to Sung Jin-Woo, making him a more difficult opponent to defeat than the Ant King.

In other words, Kandiaru will give Jin-Woo a taste of his own medicine. He is going to push him beyond his limits by taking out the formidable shadow army on the battlefield. Jin-Woo has no choice but to rely on his brute strength to defeat Kandiaru, or else he will die for good. This will be an exciting matchup, one that will certainly surpass Jin-Woo's fight with the Ant King.
