This article contains spoilers from Demon Slayer and Solo Leveling.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle was officially adapted into a movie this year, and the first part was an absolute sensation that left the fans speechless. The movie went on to reach heights never seen before and it goes without saying that, overall, it was the best anime release of 2025. With Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle breaking all sorts of records in 2025 thanks to its movie, many other big anime IPs will be looking to hit a similar level of heights with their own movies. It shouldn't come as a surprise to any fan to see other franchises try to copy Demon Slayer with canon movie releases that deliver a high-quality experience.
New 2025 Hit Anime Movie Is Coming for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle's Throne
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is the king of anime movies in 2025, but this new movie is coming for its throne.
One franchise that could very well get a movie in the future is Solo Leveling. While the anime is relatively new and hasn't received any major movie yet, fans are adamant that a Solo Leveling movie would be absolutely amazing and would even hold the potential to surpass Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. The hype for a Solo Leveling movie doesn't come from thin air. Even the staff want a Solo Leveling movie, and it very well could happen.
Solo Leveling Could Beat Demon Slayer If It Gets A Movie In The Future
A Solo Leveling Movie Can Break All Records
- Solo Leveling is the most reviewed Crunchyroll anime
- Solo Leveling won Anime Of The Year recently
Solo Leveling being one of the biggest anime releases of the last few years is no surprise at this point. Its first season, although short, managed to hit unprecedented heights and even went on to claim the title of Anime of the Year this year. The second season of Solo Leveling broke records once again and if the first season was great, Solo Leveling Season 2 reached even higher heights.
I use the System, and the System uses me. — Sung Jinwoo, Solo Leveling
Solo Leveling was the most-watched anime on Crunchyroll at one point, and it is officially the most reviewed anime in the history of Crunchyroll. No matter what fans think of it, they absolutely cannot deny the fact that fans love Solo Leveling. Be it for just the action or big fights, Solo Leveling has a grip on fans like no other series and this group would only tighten if the series were to get the same treatment as Demon Slayer.
Solo Leveling Has Officially Ended, But Sung Jinwoo's Story Will Continue
Solo Leveling is over, but that doesn't mean Jinwoo's story is over.
If there's one anime series the popularity of which can rival Demon Slayer among the new generation of anime fans, it's Solo Leveling. Granted, the plot of Solo Leveling isn't all that amazing and the story may be very basic, but it's the action that the fans love and that will keep them coming for more.
I'll carry Nezuko on my back and run if I have to. — Tanjiro Kamado, Demon Slayer
A Solo Leveling Movie Is Very Likely
Solo Leveling Still Has A Lot To Offer
Solo Leveling getting a movie isn't just something that the fans wish for. Recently, the voice actor for Sung Jinwoo, Taito Ban, also commented on it, and he clearly wants a Solo Leveling movie. Here's what he had to say:
"I would really, really like it if the momentum continued & it didn't just stop because there's so much more of the story left to tell. So season 3, season 4, season 5 & maybe even a movie in the works." — Taito Ban
At this point, Solo Leveling getting an anime movie seems very likely, and if it does, it would then compete with Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 and 3 for the title of the best anime movie.
Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes, and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while awaiting any more news concerning the third season. For fans who can’t wait for season 3 to come out, checking out the Manhwa might be a great option.
