The following article may contain spoilers for Solo Leveling: Ragnarok.

The original Solo Leveling: Ragnarok suddenly ended a few days ago, but fans will soon be able to enjoy more of the series with the second season of the manhwa adaptation. The conclusion of Ragnarok made fans sad, and some speculate the series was canceled, even though Daul could have chosen to abruptly end it for other reasons.

The Solo Leveling: Ragnarok webcomic/manhwa adaptation went on hiatus months ago, but it might be back as soon as the next few days, which is great news for everyone who wanted more content following the ending of the novel.

'It's Going To Be A Torturous Wait': Solo Leveling Ragnarok’s Hiatus After Chapter 47 Has Fans Reeling

Solo Leveling Ragnarok is on an indefinite hiatus after Chapter 47, and fans wonder if the series will be absent for several months.

Solo Leveling Ragnarok Manhwa Returns from Hiatus

  • Solo Leveling Ragnarok Season 2 (webcomic) officially announced.
  • No return was announced, the manhwa has been on hiatus since April 2025.

D&C Webtoon, one of the companies behind Solo Leveling, recently teased on social media that the Solo Leveling Ragnarok manhwa adaptation would soon return for its highly anticipated second season. This is especially exciting because the Ragnarok novel ended with many loose ends, and one of the reasons why the novel started was to try to address many loopholes in the original Solo Leveling novel.

The webcomic went on hiatus in early April 2025, following a sudden announcement that Solo Leveling Ragnarok Season 1 was finally over and the authors would prepare the upcoming arcs. Unfortunately, D&C Webtoon didn't provide a release date for Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Chapter 48 (or Season 2, Chapter 1).

What to Expect from Solo Leveling Ragnarok Season 2

For those not familiar with Ragnarok, while the manhwa keeps the main plot lines, it is very different from the novel, to the point that readers of the novel can't predict how the story will unfold. For example, at the end of Season 1, Sung Suho defeated his novel counterpart and chose a new class, now being an "irregular." Additionally, the final chapter (Chapter 47) teased that Cha Hae-In would return in the next season. She's been missing since the beginning of the story, and it's likely that the webtoon will follow the same plot line as the novel, where she spent five years inside a dimensional rift but survived. We will soon learn what happened to her in this timeline.

In fact, the sudden ending of the novel could be related to the return of the manhwa. Since the webcomic has altered many events, there could be a link between the ending of the novel and the route that the manhwa will follow, and the adaptation could explain why there are so many differences between them. Given that there are plans to expand the franchise's universe, a Solo Leveling Ragnarok multiverse would make a lot of sense.

Additionally, now Tapas is up-to-date with KakaoPage's schedule, so the next chapters of the manhwa will probably be officially available in English only a few days after they are released in Korean.

Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is available to read on KakaoPage (Korean) and Tapas (English).
