With so much going on for this series, many believe season 2, although great in its own way, will be nothing compared to the storm that will be brought by Solo Leveling Season 3, and here’s why.

Solo Leveling Season 2 Was A Huge Success

The Jeju Island Arc Was Massive

Solo Leveling proves itself to be an anime no one expected to blow up the way it did. Season 1, which came out in 2024, just over a year ago, was pretty massive. The first season introduced the fans to Jinwoo and started his journey.

Solo Leveling Season 2, which just dropped earlier this year, is, however, where it starts getting more intense. Solo Leveling Season 2 covered one of the biggest arcs so far in the story, the Jeju Island arc. This arc showed the most iconic battle of the anime, which was Sung Jinwoo vs the Ant King. The season ended on a huge cliffhanger, and fans simply can’t wait for what comes next with Solo Leveling Season 3. While Season 2 was definitely great, the next season could even surpass it.

Solo Leveling Season 3 Could Surpass It

The Plot Progresses Greatly Next Season

Solo Leveling Season 3 has the potential to surpass the second season, and for a very good reason. The story in seasons 1 and 2 was certainly captivating, but it was mainly carried by the intense battles Sung Jinwoo fought. That will definitely change with Solo Leveling Season 3, where a lot of lore will be revealed to watchers about the deeper secrets of the series, especially about the mystery that is the System.

Anime-only fans don’t know much about the System, and how or why Jinwoo has the powers that he has. The arc covering Jinwoo’s return to the Double Dungeon will change that.

Solo Leveling Season 3’s Return Is Still A Mystery

The Release Date Is Unknown So Far

Knowing how insane Solo Leveling Season 3 will be, many fans might be wondering when Season 3 is coming out.

Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no answer to that question. After all, fans don’t even know which year this new season will come out in, which is very concerning. Solo Leveling Season 3 could come out anytime between 2026 and 2028, but fans will have to wait for more information from the studio to drop.

Hopefully, it isn’t too long of a wait. Most importantly, fans hope the quality of the series is conserved.
