This article contains spoilers for the Solo Leveling series.
Sung Jinwoo, Solo Leveling’s main character, is most certainly an example of an overpowered lead. Jinwoo isn't the most interesting character, but his power has contributed greatly to his popularity. Fans love to see Jinwoo defeating his enemies and winning with ease, and even when he struggles, the combat he delivers when he fights excites all watchers even more. So far, however, he isn’t the strongest in Solo Leveling. Solo Leveling Season 3 will introduce someone even greater.
Solo Leveling Is The Most Popular Anime, But It Will Never Reach The Level Of 3 Series
Solo Leveling is huge, but not as big as these three iconic shonen series.
Sung Jinwoo is a Powerful Character Main Character
- Jinwoo Is The Shadow Monarch
- He Also Has the Power to Level Up
Solo Leveling is a series greatly focused on battles and character powers. After all, the fights are what caught the attention of most fans and got them hooked.
The main character of Solo Leveling, Sung Jinwoo, is a powerful individual. But, he wasn't always as strong as he is right now. Jinwoo started as one of the very weakest Hunters. However, after the Double Dungeon, he reawakened with newfound powers. Jinwoo gained the incredible ability to level up. The more Jinwoo fought, the stronger he got. And at one point, Jinwoo also became the Shadow Monarch. This granted him the ability to build his own army with the shadows of foes he had killed.
By the end of Solo Leveling Season 2, Jinwoo is already one of the strongest characters in the entire series, but not the strongest yet. There are still a few characters above him, and Solo Leveling Season 3 will showcase just that.
Jinwoo is Strong, Ashborn Will Be Revealed In Solo Leveling Season 3
Ashborn Is The Original Shadow Monarch
While Jinwoo is very strong right now in the anime, he has yet to reach his peak. In Solo Leveling Season 3, fans will see a glimpse of Ashborn, the original Shadow Monarch, and it will be clear to see that he's superior to Jinwoo.
Indeed, anime-only fans might not know much about him right now, but Ashborn is an essential character to the series, as he is the one whose vessel Jinwoo is supposed to be. Ashborn will be especially important once Jinwoo returns to the Double Dungeon, something fans might get to see in Solo Leveling Season 3.
Solo Leveling: Jinwoo Is The Strongest S Rank Hunter, But His Next Enemy In Season 3 Is Even Stronger
Jinwoo is powerful, but his next opponent from Solo Leveling season 3 will be even more so.
Ashborn is so strong that he is on the same level as Solo Leveling’s final antagonist, which fans will find out more about later on. Jinwoo will eventually surpass him, but for now, he is nowhere near his level.
“I am the record of your bitter struggle. I am the evidence of your resistance. I am the reward of your pain. I am death, I am eternal rest, and I am also terror. I am you.” — Ashborn
