- Jin-Woo and Cha Hae-In will only be friends in season 3, skipping their friendly date.
The Solo Leveling anime is currently at a standstill, but the story is far from over. There’s more to Sung Jin-Woo's story in Solo Leveling season 3, as he faces tougher opponents to protect the world and the precious people in his life, including Cha Hae-In. She plays a crucial role in the next story arcs, but with the introduction of more powerful hunters and villains, fans may not like what will happen to her.
So far, Cha Hae-In is one of the most relevant characters in Solo Leveling. Her role as Korea’s 9th S-rank hunter and the vice master of the Hunters Guild easily makes her a standout character among the rest. Not to mention, fans know she is set to capture Jin-Woo's heart—an incredibly difficult feat that only Cha Hae-In can achieve. But before she can do this, she must jump through major hoops in Solo Leveling season 3.

Solo Leveling Season 3 Will Feature a Different Cha Hae-In
Cha Hae-In Will Receive Character Development
- Cha Hae-In will become more aggressive and reckless in Solo Leveling season 3.
- Cha Hae-In will do her best to redeem herself.
Unlike the last two seasons of Solo Leveling, Cha Hae-In will be more than determined to fight alongside Jin-Woo in season 3. She is dead set on joining him on the same battlefield against enemies with monstrous strengths, no matter what happens. Strangely, the idea of fighting with Jin-Woo side by side brings her joy and fulfillment. She’s at a confusing moment in her life, but it’s gradually becoming clear she’s gaining romantic feelings for Jin-Woo.
Beyond the romance and all things fuzzy and warm, a different kind of Cha Hae-In is going to debut next season. Instead of acting like the usual Cha Hae-In, she is going to extreme lengths to prove her strength and redeem herself in front of Jin-Woo. Of all the people she wants to impress the most, it’s the savior of her life. Hence, a more aggressive and reckless version of herself will come in Solo Leveling season 3.
"I am still far from strong enough. There, I could only wait for others to rescue me.—Cha Hae-In
This kind of character development isn’t a surprise, considering it’s inevitable to happen. For Cha Hae-In to keep up with Jin-Woo's rapid growth, she needs to undergo a drastic change in personality and strength, or else she will be left behind. Fans know that she’s going to get sidelined as Jin-Woo continues to grow stronger, so it’s only right for her to change and keep up.
Cha Hae-In Will Be Defeated Again
Cha Hae-In Will Lose to Beru and Yoo Soo-Hyun
- Cha Hae-In will have a rematch with Beru and lose.
- Cha Hae-In will be rejected by the Ahjin Guild, while Yoo Soo-Hyun will be accepted.
Unfortunately, Cha Hae-In's devastating loss against the Ant King on Jeju Island is only the start of her losing streak in Solo Leveling. Even though she’s known as the strongest female hunter, she’s bound to lose again in season 3, which her hardcore fans may find difficult to watch. She suffered tremendously last season, and yet bad things will still come after her next season.
Facing the Ant King for the second time is going to be tough for Cha Hae-In. In her attempt to join Jin-Woo's Ahjin Guild, she agrees to fight not just Igris, but also Beru. While she defeats Igris, it’s a different story when it comes to Beru. Her fighting spirit, combined with her skills, is still not enough to take down the Ant King’s shadow. Worse, Jin-Woo will find this reckless behavior suspicious, resulting in her rejected guild application.
"I want to catch up with him and stand shoulder to shoulder with him. For that, I must become stronger."—Cha Hae-In to Sung Jin-Woo
On top of that, an A-rank hunter is set to fill Cha Hae-In's position in the Ahjin Guild, adding salt to the wound. Yoo Soo-Hyun, Jin-Ho's cousin, is joining the guild without going to any trouble of facing Jin-Woo's formidable shadows. Her fame and beauty also make her a threat to Cha Hae-In, especially after she posts a casual selfie with Jin-Woo. This will irk Cha Hae-In, who still can’t believe why Jin-Woo refused an S-rank like her and accepted an A-rank hunter.
Jin-Woo Will Not Yet Date Cha Hae-In
Solo Leveling Season 3 Might Not Cover Jin-Woo and Cha Hae-In's Friendly Date
- Solo Leveling season 3 might not cover Cha Hae-In and Jin-Woo's amusement park date.
- Jin-Woo and Cha Hae-In will only be friends in Solo Leveling season 3.
Fans who were expecting to see Jin-Woo and Cha Hae-In dating each other in Solo Leveling season 3 are up for disappointment. Dating is not a priority for both hunters, as Jin-Woo is laser-focused on chasing power, whereas Cha Hae-In aims to stand on equal footing with Jin-Woo in strength.
However, manhwa fans know that they will go out on a friendly amusement park date sooner or later. Unfortunately, Solo Leveling may not cover the friendly date between Jin-Woo and Cha Hae-In next season. After all, their date happens later in the story. Fans may not like it, since they have been patiently waiting to see their first-ever intimate date come to life from day one. If so, this date may be animated in further installments of Solo Leveling.
