Solo Leveling Director Confirms Character Growth For Sung Jinwoo
Jinwoo Will Become Better In Solo Leveling Season 3
- Jinwoo has just grown stronger so far
- Jinwoo will grow as a person in Season 3
Sung Jinwoo is an absolutely phenomenal character, and there's no doubt about that. Fans have come to love him for his growth, but most importantly, his strength. If there's one thing that Jinwoo is synonymous with, it is strength, but that isn't necessarily a good thing. At the moment, Sung Jinwoo is quite one-dimensional in the anime, and this is something that many fans have complained about.
Solo Leveling Author Chugong Officially Reveals The Best Part Of The Story
Solo Leveling's best part has been revealed by the creator, and fans are shocked.
I use the system, and the system uses me. — Sung Jinwoo
Jinwoo feels a bit soulless at times and exists just for battle. Some fans want to see more of him and that's precisely what Solo Leveling Season 3 is going to fix. According to Atsushi Kaneko, Sung Jinwoo's internal conflict that comes with being the strongest will be explored to the fullest in Solo Leveling Season 3, and if that happens, it will truly complete his character. Here's what Kaneko stated:
"In Season One, Jinwoo had nothing and so he fought hard to gain things as a result. By the end of Season Two, he's grown powerful and can beat all kinds of enemies. However, that power comes at a price. If Season Three happens, I want to explore this inner conflict Jinwoo has about being the strongest. If he becomes the strongest, he might lose something and then feel incomplete. He may not lose things physically, but it is what he might lose emotionally and internally. It's less about a change in Jinwoo's appearance and more about his internal growth: his integrity and his emotional state." — Atsushi Kaneko, Solo Leveling's Animation Director
