Sung Jinwoo is the main protagonist of Solo Leveling. Initially, he was the weakest Hunter in the world, who couldn't tackle the lowest-rated dungeon. But his life changed after the Double Dungeon incident.
He was chosen by the System, which resulted in him getting limitless potential. Following the incident, Sung Jinwoo continued to grow at an exponential rate, and he soon became the strongest S-rank Hunter in Japan. The second season of the anime covered Jinwoo's rise to the top of the charts, and it also extensively covered his ability to raise the dead.

Sung Jinwoo's ability to raise the dead as Shadows makes him an insanely overpowered individual. Using this power, Jinwoo has raised fallen enemies and turned them into his loyal underlings. So far, Jinwoo has used the power to obtain the following Shadows:
- Tank
- Beru
- Iron
- Kaisel
- Igris
- Tusk
All these Shadows are of varying grades, and Jinwoo deploys them based on the difficulty of the assignment. For the majority of the anime, Sung Jinwoo has relied on the services of Igris, and he has hardly let him down. The hero gained Beru towards the very end of the second season, which is why fans didn't get a proper demonstration of what the Shadow can do.

Considering the fact that Shadows retain the power level from the time they were alive, it's safe to say that Beru will be as dangerous as when he was the Ant King. So, he can easily beat S-rank Hunters with ease. If Jinwoo is outnumbered, he can deploy Beru, who will help to balance the odds. It's quite obvious that the power to raise the dead is incredible, but there is one character who has much stronger ability.
The Absolute Being Has Better Power Than Sung Jinwoo
He Has The Ability To Create Things Out Of Nothing
The Absolute Being has yet to be introduced in the Solo Leveling anime, but novel readers know about his existence. The Absolute Being had the power to create things out of nothing. He used the same power to create the Rulers and Monarchs. The Absolute Being could also create mythical items like the Cup of Reincarnation. The artifact could turn back time 10 years with each use.
While he did not create any other items, it is safe to assume that he did so because of his personal choice. If the Absolute Being wanted, he could have created other powerful artifacts that could have destroyed entire armies with ease.
It is also worth mentioning that the Absolute Being could also create living beings. He could have made powerful warriors just like Rulers and Monarchs, who would have done the fighting on his behalf. Despite having such a powerful ability, the Absolute Being could not use it properly in fights. After all, the Rulers were able to kill him without any problems. In fact, Sung Jinwoo was arguably superior to the Absolute Being in terms of combat.
Sung Jinwoo Will Obtain New Shadows In Solo Leveling Season 3
As the protagonist of Solo Leveling, it's obvious that Sung Jinwoo is going to be the center of attention in the third season. Towards the end of the second season, Jinwoo recruited Beru to his Shadow Army. With the new addition, it will be almost impossible for any Hunter to stop him. So, the third season of the anime will bring a far superior challenge.
Sung Jinwoo will meet Kandiaru, the Architect of the System, in Season 3, and it will give Jinwoo the opportunity to ask Kandiaru about the true purpose of the System and why he was selected. The hero will also have to fight Kandiaru, and the fight will be the most challenging one so far. Once Jinwoo takes down Kandiaru, his abilities will improve, and he will be able to handle far greater threats. One thing is clear: Solo Leveling Season 3 is going to be phenomenal.
