This article contains spoilers for the Sailor Moon and Solo Leveling series.
Sung Jinwoo is the beloved protagonist of one of the newest and biggest hit anime series, Solo Leveling. Jinwoo’s popularity speaks for itself, as fans voted him to be 2025’s best main character. Jinwoo’s appeal comes from his stoic personality, but also his astonishing strength as a fighter. Fans love to see him destroy his enemies and absolutely dominate against all the foes that he fights.
It Might Be Time To Say Goodbye To Solo Leveling Season 3, And Welcome Something Even Better
Solo Leveling season 3 isn't coming, and fans can look forward to this series instead.
At the end of Solo Leveling, Sung Jinwoo becomes the strongest character, and while he has no competition in his own world, there are quite a few anime and manga characters who could easily beat him. One of these powerful characters is Usagi, also known as Sailor Moon.
Sailor Moon is One Of The Most Overpowered Anime Characters Ever
Her Strength Is Far Stronger Than The Likes of Sung Jinwoo
When it comes to shoujo anime, no series is even remotely comparable to Sailor Moon. This series redefined the genre and remains the biggest shoujo ever created. In most discussions concerning powerscaling, most fans often overlook the shoujo characters, and that's quite unfortunate. The fact is that they feature some of the most powerful characters in all of anime and manga, and Sailor Moon herself is a prime example.
Sailor Moon Is Actually Darker Than It Looks
Sailor Moon isn’t just a magical girl series, it also deals with dark themes like death, sacrifice, and tough choices, especially in the manga.
Sailor Moon’s powers are limitless. In the Sailor Moon manga, she pretty much becomes a goddess. Usagi showcases some absolutely immaculate feats in her series, such as resetting the universe and reviving the dead. What’s even crazier is that this isn’t even Sailor Moon’s ceiling of power. Sailor Moon is at her strongest once she becomes Sailor Cosmos in the future. As expected, even in this form, she has shown herself to be far superior to the likes of Jinwoo, and even other powerful characters like Goku.
Jinwoo is Stronger In The Manhwa Then His Anime Counterpart
He Is Still Beaten by Many Anime Characters
Fans of the Solo Leveling anime might not know how strong Jinwoo actually is. Right now, in the anime, he is still far from his peak. While he has gained the powers of raising shadows, his overall strength isn't all that impressive even compared to characters from his own series in the anime. He is still far from the strongest Monarch, but with every new season, he will definitely get stronger.
His next power-up in Solo Leveling will be the Black Heart, something he will receive from Ashborn. This will turn him into the True Shadow Monarch and put him on track to become the world’s strongest. However, even with all that, he is still not comparable to anime’s strongest, which includes characters like Sailor Moon or even Son Goku.
Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes, and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while awaiting any more news concerning the third season. For fans who can’t wait for season 3 to come out, checking out the manhwa might be a great option.
