Solo Leveling Season 3 Could Kill The Anime Forever

Solo Leveling's animation quality is definitely amazing, but it would be foolish to think that no other series can top it. In fact, an upcoming Winter 2026 anime will have better animation than Solo Leveling.
Trigun Stargaze's Animation Will Be Better Than Solo Leveling

As previously stated, Solo Leveling's animation is incredible, but it isn't nearly as good as Trigun Stampede nor its subsequent installment. Trigun Stargaze is the much-awaited sequel to Trigun Stampede, which was released in 2023. The anime is being produced by Orange, the studio behind titles like Beastars and Houseki no Kuni. Unlike the original iteration, Trigun Stampede did not have a classic animation style. Instead, Orange decided to opt for 3D CG animation. Initially, a lot of fans were put off by the style, but they eventually warmed up to it. The new style allows for fluid animation and incredible attention to detail. Orange can be extremely proud of its efforts, as it has managed to create a worthy adaptation that is closer to the Trigun manga.
Trigun Stargaze is going to be released in January 2026, which means there isn't much time left for the legendary Vash the Stampede to return. The second season is set two and a half years after the Lost July Incident, which sent shockwaves across the world. Currently, there is no information about the episode count for the new season, but it's likely to have the same number as the first.

So, Trigun Stargaze will probably have 12 episodes. Once the new season ends, fans will have to wait for another couple of years for the third and final season of Trigun. While waiting for a new season can be tiring, it's still better than not having it at all.
Solo Leveling Season 3 Has Not Been Confirmed
Solo Leveling has broken all kinds of records with its two seasons, and yet A-1 Pictures has not announced a third season, which is truly worrying. Normally, it doesn't take long for an anime that is performing as well as Solo Leveling to confirm the next project. However, the absence of any updates from the studio suggests that a decision has not been made. The studio is likely busy with other works and doesn't have the facilities to begin production on a new season of Solo Leveling. Some of the people involved with the anime have suggested that a third may be released as late as 2028. If the studio does decide to stick with the 2028 release, then it will no doubt leave fans disappointed.
Solo Leveling Is Finally Making A Big Comeback
Solo Leveling is returning, and a lot sooner than expected.
An adaptation of Solo Leveling's quality can easily take up to two years, and if the studio began working on the project after the conclusion of season 2, it should be done by 2027. So, it makes sense for the anime to release in late 2027 or early 2028. However, it is better if the studio takes a bit longer and gives fans a longer season.
Solo Leveling Season 3 Might Be The Longest to Date
The first two seasons had 12 and 13 episodes, respectively. If the studio is going to make viewers wait for three whole years, it makes sense to release a season with over 20 episodes. Another short season would mean that Solo Leveling fans would have to wait till 2030 or later for the anime to cover the web novel completely.
To counter this problem, A-1 Pictures can release a longer third season and then cover the remainder of the arcs in a movie. The studio will be eager to test the approach, especially after the success of the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie, which earned more than $600 million at the box office. The movie broke old records while setting many new ones. The results are certainly tempting, which is why A-1 Pictures might seriously consider releasing a movie at some point.
What Will Happen In Solo Leveling Season 3?
Based on the previous seasons, it is highly probable that Solo Leveling Season 3 will cover the Ahjin Guild Arc, Double Dungeon Arc, Japan Crisis Arc, and International Guild Conference Arc. All these arcs are full of action, and they will reveal new details about Jinwoo's life. Furthermore, a lot of characters will make their debuts in Season 3 and get the chance to show off their abilities. Considering the arcs that could be adapted in the next season of Solo Leveling, there is no doubt that it will be a hit.
