Soulmask is a sandbox survival game that gives the player all the power and lets them make decisions at their own pace. Whether they want to rush through the story, or spend their time carefully crafting the best possible base they can is up to them.

An important resource that appears in the game is the Aloe Leaf. It's a type of plant that is used for crafting higher tier healing items, but players can have a hard time finding it in the dense jungles of the game. Here's where they can find it.

Where To Find Aloe Leaf

Aloe Leaves can be found on the ground, sticking out with pointy leaves. They occur as foliage, meaning they can be harvested by hand or by scythe. However, finding them is fairly difficult. They can appear anywhere in the world, but there are a few spots on the map where they appear consistently in the early game.

  • South Of Claw Tribe Barracks: The Northern Barbarian Barracks are a great place for farming loot from barbarians in the early game. However, just south of these barracks, players can find a large patch of Aloe Leaves growing, ready for plucking. This resource will regenerate from time to time, so players can keep coming back to it as needed.
  • South Of Pyramid: The pyramid on the north-east border of the map where players fight the Sabertooth Tiger doesn't have any resources to speak of. However, if players go down south from the Pyramid and cross a stream, they will come across another patch of Aloe Leaves.
  • North Of Flint Tribe Barracks: The Flint Tribe Barracks are separated from the Claw Tribe Barracks by a river and some land. On its northern border, players can find plenty of Aloe Leaves.

Finding these leaves in the dense vegetation is extremely difficult. Even though they have a distinct shape, the green color blends in with the surrounding leaves. A simple way to combat this is by turning down the Foliage Quality slider in the Game Settings all the way to Low. This removes all the non-harvestable leaves that litter the ground, giving the players a clear view of what they're looking for on the ground.

Players can assign tribe members to different tasks, including gathering plants around the base. This can get the players some Aloe Leaves if any grow nearby.
