The latest graphics were poured into every painstaking detail to ensure the greatest amount of fidelity, from the variety of armor on display to the models and animations of each individual stance and style of play. There was no expense spared in the cutscenes either, showcasing the world of the Warhammer universe in stunning form with photo-realistic animations.
However, these graphics can often be obscured by vignettes and effects that have become mainstays in FPS games today, such as the letterbox format during mid-mission cutscenes or the encroaching strawberry jam on the screen as the player's health reaches zero. ChemBoy1's mod removes these supplementary effects from Space Marine 2 so that the graphics and gameplay can be appreciated without obstruction.
