This will also significantly speed up mod creation as a whole while also giving users access to tools they haven't had yet, like Space Marine 2's AI behavior trees, level scenario editor, UI and HUD elements, and much, much more.

"Not long ago, I promised we would support the modding scene," Grigorenko continued, "and we meant it. We're excited to see what you build next, whether it's a cinematic campaign, wild new game mode, or something we never saw coming." It's safe to say that the Space Marine 2 modding scene is about to explode, though this isn't to say the game hadn't already received some impressive, game-changing mods. Just recently, a mod was created adding 12-player co-op to Space Marine 2 missions.
A large part of Space Marine 2's success can be attributed to developers' willingness to listen and collaborate with the game's community, as Saber Interactive has been very open to feedback. Direct lines of communication certainly help, with Space Marine 2 sporting its very own Discord server. The last few months have been very exciting for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, though the future is also full of potential. Developers shared their plans for the future of Space Marine 2 months ago, which takes a seasonal approach to content updates. More enemies, weapons, and armor are expected to drop as Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2's year 1 cycle continues.
