Spider-Man 2 is a rather massive game, and it features some of the coolest battles in the history of the franchise. The game features plenty of enemies that players have to take down on their way to complete the story. These foes can be encountered at different points and require certain strategies to be beaten.

They also possess unique powers, which make it extremely difficult to defeat them. Players will have to unlock new skills and upgrade their suits to make sure that they can fight and vanquish these opponents. There are a total of eight villains in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 that players will encounter in their adventure.

All Villains In Spider-Man 2

Most of the enemies in Spider-Man 2 will appear in Main Missions, with only a couple appearing in side missions. To make things easier, this table will include all the villains that players will fight in Spider-Man 2.

  • Players will fight Sandman during the Surface Tension main mission. As depicted in the video above, this fight against Sandman is a great example of some of the boss fights players will encounter later.

Lizard
  • Due to Kraven's interference, Dr. Connors turns into Lizard again. Players will fight him in the It Chose You mission.

  • Mark Whitten

Mr. Negative
  • Mr. Negative is freed by Kraven, which bothers Miles a lot. This particular villain can be encountered during the No Escape main quest.

  • Stephen Oyoung

Kraven
  • Kraven, the greatest hunter in the world, turns his attention toward the home of Miles and Peter. In his quest to hunt strong opponents, Kraven not only hunters supervillains but also the two heroes. Players will fight in Anything Can Be Broken and Don't Be Scared missions.

  • Jim Pirri

Scream
  • Things take a turn for the worse when Mary Jane turns into something very dangerous. Players will have to rescue her in This Isn't You main mission.

  • Laura Bailey

Venom
  • Venom was a key attraction for Spider-Man 2. Players will fight this villain in Set Things Right and Together missions.

Wraith
  • Wraith will be an ally early on in the game, but players will have to defeat her as the story progresses. She appears as a villain in the I Knew You Had It In You mission.

  • Tara Platt

Mysterio
  • The master of illusions will try his luck at fighting the heroes once again. It is up to the players to stop him. They will fight him in the Grand Finale.

  • Noshir Dalal

Players will also have to fight Peter in one of the missions, but it would be an exaggeration to call him a villain.
