In Splatoon 3: Side Order, players will find themselves scaling the Spire of Order in an attempt to reach its top Floor. As fans climb, they may begin to have questions about exactly how many Floors they must clear in order to finish the run. This guide is here to answers those questions, and details on the number of floors in Splatoon 3: Side Order can be found in what follows.
Splatoon 3: Side Order - How Many Floors
Splatoon 3: Side Order's Spire of Order consists of 30 Floors, and a successful run will see players clearing them all before they lose their final life. As Splatoon fans climb, they will encounter both standard and boss Floors, with the latter appearing every 10 Floors. Players will also find Vending Machines, where they can spend their Membux, and Keys as they ascend, and those objects are marked on the in-game map.
Splatoon 3: How to Play Tableturf With Friends
Splatoon 3's Fresh Season update lets players pit their Tableturf Battle decks against each other, and this guide explains how.
While players should now understand that they must clear 30 Floors in order to complete a run of Splatoon 3's Side Order DLC, it is important to acknowledge that there are not just 30 fixed Floors in the campaign. Instead, Floors are uniquely generated for every run, with predefined layouts, objectives, hazards, and more being combined to create the experience. The vastness of the possible combinations means that there is actually an astronomical number of different Floors to clear, and no two runs will be identical.
The uniqueness of every run is further facilitated by the fact that players will select from three options almost every time that they visit a new Floor. Indeed, even if the Spire of Order's Floors were completely fixed, the Floor selection mechanic means that the tower can be navigated in a truly tremendous number of ways. All together, this makes the single-player Splatoon 3 campaign highly replayable, and completing a run definitely does not need to mark the end of a player's time with the DLC.
To note, if a player loses their final life before clearing 30 Floors, they will be kicked out of the Spire of Order and forced to start again. That said, any Color Chips and Membux that a fan has when they die will be converted into Prlz, a currency that can be used to purchase permanent upgrades from Marina in Splatoon 3. Those upgrades include additional lives, improvements to the Pearl Drone, and more, and they will make it easier for players to reach the top Floor during subsequent runs.
