How To Get Kickoff Medal In Splitgate 2

To earn a Kickoff Medal, you need to score the very first kill of the round. So, you must act fast, rush into the enemy's base, and eliminate the first enemy that you see.

It might be a little bit difficult to get this challenge done, as the player only has one chance per round, and the challenge requires five Kickoff Medals. Your best chance is to cycle through Arena modes, as each mode usually features 3 to 5 rounds. So, you have a better chance of getting Kickoff Medals compared to a mode like Battle Royale.

Rushing towards enemies with a shotgun is probably a good idea to score the first kill of the round, especially if you can use sliding to traverse faster. But a better method is to open a portal to the enemy base early on and flank them with a shotgun. Of course, this is not possible in all maps, but there are a few arenas that will let it happen.

Takedown is also another great mode to farm Kickoff Medals. The maps for Takedown are smaller than any other mode, and you can open really smart portals for flanking.

Last but not least, if you have friends to play with, queue for a match with them and maybe ask them to hold off on kills so you can get the first blood in the round. That's probably the last method to use if you are really hopeless at completing the challenge.

Earning the Kickoff Medal is a challenge that may appear in both weekly and daily challenge lists to earn battle pass tokens, and these tokens are essential to unlocking new tiers of the battle pass. Not that you won't be able to unlock the entire battle pass without completing the Kickoff Medals challenge, but you will probably need to wait a bit longer for a refresh in the daily or weekly challenge list.
