Step into the shoes of the lovable starfish Patrick Star in the new SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game and explore Bikini Bottom like never before. For fans of the TV show, this game offers a strong dose of nostalgia, faithfully recreating the undersea city with all its iconic landmarks. As players explore every nook and cranny of the town, they'll meet popular characters like Mr. Krabs, Sandy, and even SpongeBob.
While the game isn't driven by a story, there is still plenty to do for those who are willing to put in the time and effort. One of the more rewarding parts of the campaign is unlocking all the different costumes available for Patrick. This guide discusses all the costumes that players can get in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game and the requirements to unlock them.

How to Unlock Costumes in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game
In SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game, players won't have to solve any secret quests or jump through hoops to unlock costumes for Patrick. The costumes will unlock naturally as they earn Sand Dollars while exploring Bikini Bottom, completing Feats, and playing quest mini-games.
You'll start with the Default Patrick Skin, but as you reach different milestones by earning enough Sand Dollars, you'll unlock different skins for Patrick. For example, the Hot-Rod Patrick Costume unlocks once you manage to earn 800 Sand Dollars in total.
All Costumes Available in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game
Apart from the default Patrick costume that you start the game with, there are a total of 11 costumes in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game. Here's a complete list, along with their individual unlock costs:

The costumes serve only as a cosmetic upgrade, though, which might disappoint some players. With the Under Construction Patrick Costume, you get a Hammer, but other than that, you don't get any extra benefit from unlocking any of the costumes in the game. So, if you were hoping to control the citizens of Bikini Bottom using the Barnacle Boy Patrick costume, you're out of luck.
Then again, each of the costumes in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game takes inspiration from the TV show. Fans have seen these costumes on Patrick at one time or another if they have watched all the episodes. So there's certainly a sentimental value to these skins.
