Spring 2025 includes major sequels like Fire Force, Wind Breaker, I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, Aharen Is Indecipherable, Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, Black Butler, along with a highly-anticipated My Hero Academia prequel called Vigilantes. The season also has more than a few compelling newcomers, particularly The Beginning After the End, Lazarus, and From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman.

More than 40 Spring 2025 anime are set to fight for attention over the coming months, and they will be split across Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu. Rock Is a Lady's Modesty, Sword of the Demon Hunter, & More

HIDIVE has left its mark on the industry by focusing on quality over quantity, all the while highlighting risqué shows that might not be natural fits for other streaming services. So far, HIDIVE's Spring 2025 anime lineup is still quite small and could develop over the coming weeks. Three shows are confirmed for the platform: Rock Is a Lady's Modesty, Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho, and Yandere Dark Elf.

Sword of the Demon Hunter is based on a novel and manga that blend history with fantasy, and it is certainly worth keeping an eye on. Meanwhile, Rock Is a Lady's Modesty continues the industry's recent appreciation for girl band anime, and this series has done a great job of building momentum through its marketing. Yandere Dark Elf is an ecchi reverse isekai.

In recent years, Netflix has pushed its anime content heavily, with the platform delivering a few exclusive shows per season. The Spring 2025 selection is not quite as expansive as the Fall 2024 or Winter 2025 lineups, but Moon Rise and Yaiba: Samurai Legend both look pretty good.

From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman and Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX are especially exciting, and Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray should be among the best anime of Spring 2025.

Hulu's Spring 2025 anime lineup is not quite as impressive as Amazon Prime Video's, but Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Season 2 is a relatively big deal. The first season offered a fun twist on sentai formula, setting the stage for a hopefully superior sequel. Lazarus is airing on Adult Swim and Max, which is huge since it is one of the biggest Spring 2025 anime.
