The Gauss Gun and Exoskeletons are among some of the most powerful late-game gear that you can get in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Although players are meant to gain access to these gear items towards the end of the game, those who visit Pripyat early can get them quicker. There's a free Operator Exoskeleton that you can get in Pripyat, as well as an extended magazine attachment for your Gauss Gun to increase the round capacity to 20. Here's where you'll find both of the items.
Stalker 2: How To Get SEVA-I Lead Container Blueprint
Players can add a lead container in their SEVA-I suits to nullify artifact radiation, and here's how you can get the blueprint for it in Stalker 2.
How to Get the Operator Exoskeleton & Gauss Gun Extended Mag in Stalker 2
Players can find the Operator Exoskeleton and the extended magazine attachment for the Gauss Gun sniper rifle inside the Friendship Kindergarten POI in the Pripyat region of Stalker 2. The point of interest is actually a school building that's located southeast of the Energetik Palace of Culture base.
Once you approach the building from the playground's side, you'll spot a grate placed in an open window near the entrance. You'll have to jump over the grate to enter the locked room and get the items. Here's how you'll do it.
Getting Inside the Friendship Kindergarten Locked Room
Once you enter the building, you'll spot a flight of stairs leading to the upper floor. Once you get upstairs, head inside the room and face towards the broken window left of the doorway. The window has some glass still attached to it, so break it off with a knife melee attack.
Climb to the window and look below it. You'll spot the grate near the building entrance that you need to land on. Carefully step off the window pane and land on the grate below.
Picking Up Operator Exoskeleton and Gauss Gun Extended Mag
Follow the grate into the Friendship Kindergarten locked room, and you'll be able to get the Operator Exoskeleton from the top of the shelf. There's a stash located just below the Exoskeleton that you can loot to get the High-Capacity Gauss Gun Magazine attachment. There's also other valuable loot inside the stash that you can also take.
The Operator Exoskeleton comes with very high physical and radiation protection, paired with overall high protection stats across the board. You can equip the extended mag on the Gauss Gun either from the inventory menu or by the quick attachment equip button.
