Armor suits are one of the most expensive pieces of equipment that you can buy from vendors in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. On top of their buying costs, you'll also have to spend a good amount of coupons on upgrading, which can easily empty your bank. Instead of paying a hefty price for armor, you can just get the SEVA-D suit in the open world for free. It's a tough piece of equipment that comes with a lot of buffs, including PSI protection. Here's how you can get it.

Players can get a SEVA-V suit of armor with great stats for free while exploring the Rostok region in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
How to Get the SEVA-D Suit of Armor in Stalker 2
Players can find the SEVA-D suit of armor located on top of the building in the Cage location in the Cement Factory region of Stalker 2. You can find the location north of the Cement Factory base and east of the Slag Heap base. There's an under-construction building located in the area that players will have to climb up to get the SEVA-D suit.
However, reaching the top of the building can be tricky as the concrete beams are thin and there's a PSI anomalous field inside that will inflict damage over time on players. It's recommended to have a good number of medkits on you and make a quick save after traversing up a floor to avoid starting the climb from scratch in case you fall.
Reaching the Top of the Cage Building
Here's how you can reach the top of the building in the Cage to get the SEVA-D armor in Stalker 2.
- Start by climbing up the first set of concrete stairs and reaching the first floor.
- Follow the path on the right and walk down the narrow concrete beam to the other side. Here, you'll need to reach the set of stairs on the other side to get to the second floor.
- Once on the second floor, jump across the gap and follow the narrow path on the right.
- From here, walk across the beam and jump another gap to come across a rusted metal platform.
- Climb to the top of the platform using ladders. There's a stack of boxes on top, use them to reach a narrow path.
- Move across the narrow concrete path and carefully walk on the connecting beam to the right to reach the middle.
- You'll spot another concrete beam with a pole on its right side. Walk across that beam and jump onto the platform on the right. From here, you can simply use the stairs to climb to the third floor.
- Now from here, you'll only need to jump across the gap to the other side and crouch under the concrete beam to use the stairs and get to the roof.
Grabbing the SEVA-D Suit & Its Stats
You can find the SEVA-D suit in a blue stash at the edge of the Cage's roof. Once you pick up the suit, make sure to also grab the limited edition energy drink, as well as a PDA under the table with some valuable resources from the stash.
The SEVA-D suit is in 70% durability condition but can be repaired for some coupons by any technician. The suit comes with great PSI protection and high radiation protection. On top of these, high physical protection from the SEVA-D suit will also come in handy during gunfights in Stalker 2. To exit the Cage's roof, you can simply jump from the hole in the center of the roof to safely land on a gravitational anomaly on the ground.
