The Journalist Stash in the Pripyat region of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is the last one that players can loot to receive powerful gear. The stash is located on top of the multi-story building, so players will need to make the climb to grab the loot. However, the journey is definitely worth it as it contains not one, but three powerful gear items that can help you become a force to be reckoned with in The Zone.

How to Get the Journalist Stash in the Pripyat Region of Stalker 2
To reach Pripyat's Journalist Stash in Stalker 2, players must start their journey from the Palace of Culture and make their way straight down the road in the southeast direction. Once close to the location marked on the map, you'll see a white multi-story building. The Journalist Stash is located on top of it, so be ready to ascend several sets of stairways.
Entering the Building and Reaching the Top
After approaching the building from the main road, you'll notice there isn't an entrance. To enter the building, you'll need to go around the side and use the entrance at the back. Make your way inside the building, up the steps, and follow the corridor until you reach the staircase.
Now you'll need to keep ascending the staircases until you reach the top floor. Heading onto the floor, you'll spot the door to the Pripyat Journalist Stash locked with a keypad on the wall.
Unlocking the Door to the Journalist Stash
If you've already collected all the other Journalist Stashes in Stalker 2, you'll have the code in your menu. In case you haven't gathered them all yet, enter the code 2021 into the keypad to unlock the door.
You'll be met with a gruesome sight as you enter the room with a dead body on a chair with a message in Ukrainian written on the wall. There are some collectibles in this room, but the main attraction is the Journalist Stash on the balcony of the room.
Pripyat Journalist Stash Rewards
After opening Pripyat's Journalist Stash, you'll get several items from it, including three new gear items.
- A PSZ-21W SHTURM Exoskeleton Suit
- "MARGACH D-12MT" Shotgun
- "Hunter Bolt-Action" Sniper Rifle
All three items are a great addition to your arsenal and will power up Skif's abilities to take on threats in The Zone significantly. Retrieving all the items from the Journalist Stash in Pripyat will mark the mission "Seek and You Shall Find" as completed in Stalker 2.
