While exploring the Yantar region in Stalker 2, players will come across a small compound with an inaccessible Scientist Bunker in the middle. Although you can try climbing on top of it with the help of the stacked boxes near the entrance, there's also a way to open it and head inside. To open the Scientist Bunker in Yantar, you'll need to restore the power by turning on a few generators in the area. Here's exactly what you need to do to open the bunker and loot rewards inside.

How to Open the Scientist Bunker in Yantar Region
Players can find the Scientist Bunker farthest to the west area in the Yantar Region of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It's north of the Yantar Dam door that you need to unlock by finding the codes on vehicles with the eye symbol. After reaching the location, you'll enter a compound with a bunker in the middle and containers on the boundary.
You can climb up on top of the boxes right next to the entrance to loot the top of the bunker first. Some ammo and other consumables are lying around that will be useful to you. Once you're done, climb down to proceed to open the bunker.
Turn On the Three Generators
There are three generators around the Yantar Scientist Bunker that you need to fire up to restore power and open the door. However, there's a Controller mutant nearby, and you'll need to defeat it first to avoid taking PSI radiation from its attacks.
Once you've taken care of the Controller, you'll see black wires coming from the top of the Scientist bunker. Following each wire will lead you to one of the generators in the compound. Turning all three of them will open the main entrance, allowing you to step foot into the bunker.
Access the Scientist Bunker
Enter the bunker through the door and interact with the switchboard on the left wall to open the inner door to the bunker. After entering the bunker itself, you'll notice a hoard of zombified soldiers heading your way from the left hallway. You can quickly dispatch them by headshots, and loot their bodies for additional loot.
Now, feel free to loot the items present inside the Yantar Scientist Bunker. Although there aren't any special weapons or mods in the area, there are a lot of helpful consumables that will keep your character stocked up for a long time. In addition to the quantity of loot here, you can also use the Scientist Bunker in Yantar as a shelter to hide from emissions.
