The world of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is pretty dynamic with the A-Life system in place. Some areas will have two different factions fighting with each other, giving players a chance to help the faction they've sided with in the past. After arriving at the Fish Farm POI in the Zaton region, you'll spot a similar situation, where two different groups of bandits will be engaged in a shootout.
Zhenya Hulk and his stalker companions will be trapped inside the building and request Skif to find a key to their escape, starting the Key to Freedom side quest. Here's how you'll open the Fish Farm door, even if the side quest didn't start.
Stalker 2: How To Get The Roosevelt’s Stash
Players are having trouble either locating the Roosevelt stash or reaching it in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, here's how to get the stash.
How to Open the Fish Farm Locked Door in Stalker 2
Players can find the Fish Farm in the Zaton region of Stalker 2, directly south of the SIRCAA Exterior Checkpoint and north of Sultansk Base. After approaching the location, players will hear chatter from two groups of bandits amidst a confrontation. Things quickly escalate as they start shooting each other, with some Stalkers, including Zhenya Hulk, held captive inside the building.
Freeing Zhenya and his band of stalkers from captivity is the object of the Key to Freedom side quest, which begins right after you arrive at Fish Farm. Quickly take out all the bandits engaged in the gunfight to start searching for the Fish Farm locked door key.
Getting the Key to the Fish Farm Locked Door
Once all the bandits are taken care of, you can loot their bodies to find a PDA on one of them that will hint at the key being stashed on the roof of the warehouse. You'll spot a ladder going up the warehouse on its left side.
Climb up the ladder, and you'll arrive at the roof that's filled with the Electro anomalies. Safely navigate the area and reach the other side to find a stash hanging at the edge of the roof.
You'll find the following items inside the stash on the roof of the Fish Farm warehouse.
- Adik Pedal's Key
- AKM-74U Assault Rifle
- Coupled AKM-74 Magazines Attachment
- AKM Ammo
Unlocking the Door & Getting Rewards
Once you have the key, safely make your way down the warehouse and unlock the Fish Farm locked door. Depending on when you reach the Fish Farm, Zhenya Hulk and his buddies will either be dead or they'll be alive and reward Skif with some coupons making the end of the Key to Freedom quest in Stalker 2.
However, if they're dead, it also works to our advantage as you'll be able to loot the Sunrise Suit armor from all three bodies in the room, which you can sell to a trader for a bigger coupon reward.
