There's no shortage of quests if players decide to go off the beaten path in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Players encounter one of these random quests while exploring the Chemical Plant region, which involves taking down a powerful mutant. Although you'll be facing a Pseudogiant as part of this quest, Vadyk Firecracker will give Skif the coordinates to a stash that contains some valuable loot and a weapon, that makes it worthwhile.

How to Start Vadyk Firecracker Quest in Stalker 2
Players can find Vadyk Firecracker in the Bloodsucker Village just west of the Chemical Plant base in Stalker 2. Once you enter the abandoned village, Skif will receive a radio call from Vadyk, calling for his aid. Keep following the main road into the village until you spot a white house with a blown-off rooftop. Vadyk will be sitting on the house's rooftop.
He'll explain how a mutant is on the loose nearby, which made him climb up on the house to escape it. After a brief conversation, Vadyk will ask if Skif could help him take it down. Agreeing to his request will start the quest, as he'll lure the mutant to the open by playing on his guitar.
Fighting the Pseudogiant
Once Vadyk starts playing a tune, a Pseudogiant will come running out of the rows of houses and onto the main road. It'll charge right at Skif, so you should prepare for a fight. The best way to defeat the Pseudogiant in this location is to climb on something high enough and shoot the mutant from afar.
If you can't find elevation, make sure to dodge its shoulder charge attack as it'll knock you onto the ground in an instant. Side dodges are the most effective against most of the mutant's attacks.
Once the Pseudogiant is down, return to Vadyk. He'll share the coordinates to his stash as a reward containing some valuable loot.
Reaching Vadyk Firecracker's Stash
Vadyk Firecracker's stash is located north of the Bloodsucker Village, on the coast of the river. Simply head to the marked location and look for a pier/dock along the river. Once you find the dock, simply duck under it and look for a duffle bag that contains the loot Vadyk promised.
