Stalker Legends of the Zone Enhanced Edition brings the classic survival adventure titles back to modern hardware with some well-needed graphical tweaks. However, the games still retain their famously tough difficulty and learning curve, as players will struggle to stay alive against various threats of The Zone. So, if you're heading out in the toxic wastelands, it's important to stock up on items to heal yourself or stop bleeding during or after an enemy encounter.
Stalker Legends Of The Zone: How To Fast Travel
Players can easily fast travel to different regions in Stalker Legends of the Zone Trilogy, here's how you can do it in all three classic titles.
How to Heal in Stalker Shadow of Chornobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Pripyat Enhanced Edition
While traveling through The Zone, completing objectives in the Stalker Legends of the Zone Trilogy, players will encounter dangerous anomalies, mutants, and human enemies. You're bound to take damage during these hostile encounters, forcing you to quickly recover health before losing progress since your last save. While the games do offer health regeneration, it's extremely slow, and using health recovery items becomes necessary to survive in the open.
The best, and primary, items to recover health are various medkits in the game. There are different variants of these medkits, like regular medkit (orange), army medkit (blue), and scientific medkit (golden). These recover varying amounts of health instantaneously, allowing players to jump back into action without any delay. You can find these medkits by looting chests inside buildings, looting enemy corpses, or buying them from in-game traders.
In addition to medkits, players can also consume food items like bread, diet sausage, and tourist's breakfast (canned food), to restore a small amount of health and replenish hunger (except Stalker Clear Sky). These are available quite abundantly throughout the zone, so make sure to stock up when you can. Here are the stats for different medkits found in all classic Stalker games.

How to Stop Bleeding in Stalker Legends of the Zone Trilogy
If players take damage from mutant claws or bullets from human enemies, they'll be put under the bleed status effect. This status effect slowly drains HP over time, eventually leading to the game-over screen. Using medkits in this situation can prolong a player's life, but they'll continue to lose HP until either it's depleted or the bleed effect goes away.
Medkits also offer partial recovery from the bleeding effect.
To completely remove the bleed status effect in Stalker Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition, players must first use a bandage. The bandage offers 100% recovery from the bleeding effect (at least in Shadow of Chornobyl), while also recovering a small amount of health over time. Similar to medkits, these can also be found in abandoned buildings, inside chests, on enemy bodies, and at traders.
Here are the stats for bandages found in different Stalker games, part of the Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition.
