Star Wars Battlefront 2 features a good-sized roster of units, Heroes, and ships from the prequel, original, and sequel trilogies. However, taking part in the online multiplayer matches, you'll quickly realize that new players are outmatched with new abilities and boosts tied to unlocking Star Cards for your favorite characters.

The key to unlocking new Star Cards and new weapons in Star Wars Battlefront 2 is increasing a unit or a hero's (and villain's) experience points and leveling up. After leveling up, you'll obtain Skill points to spend on Star Cards in the Collection menu. Unfortunately, leveling up can be a lengthy process unless you know how to level up faster in Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Star Wars Battlefront 2: How To Get And Upgrade Star Cards

For those looking to increase their chances of victory in Star Wars Battlefront 2, here's how to unlock Star Cards for your troops.

Play On Double And Triple XP Days

Star Wars Battlefront 2 has double and triple XP events, and they are by far the fastest way to earn experience points, level up, and gain skill points to unlock new Star Cards. These XP events happen every week.

  • Double XP - Saturdays and Sundays
  • Triple XP - Wednesdays

In addition to double XP on weekends and Triple XP every Wednesday, there are other events that you may want to keep an eye on:

  • Fast Spawn Day - Mondays
  • Battle Point Events - Fridays

Fast Spawn Days reduces the respawn timer to 1 second in Assault Modes. The Battle Point Events lower the cost for using Heroes and Special Units in battle modes. The Battle Point Events are an excellent way to try out your favorite Heroes before you decide which ones you want to level up.

Play Co-Op Modes

Playing the player-versus-player matches as someone new to Star Wars: Battlefront 2, you'll quickly notice that other players have a massive advantage over you. Of course, experience and skill will play a factor, but many players will have the benefit of unlocked and upgraded Star Cards. It's also not very fun getting destroyed seconds into a match. To have as much fun as possible while being able to enjoy the epic Star Wars- themed battles and leveling up your favorite Heroes, Villains, and units, you should focus on Battlefront 2's Co-Op Mode.

Co-Op is the fastest and most enjoyable way to play if you're new to the game, and you'll level up your characters much faster than in other modes because it's easier to get kills and achieve goals with four other players facing off against the AI, whether you're capturing or defending Command Posts. There are six modes to choose from: Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, Resistance, Separatist Alliance, Galactic Empire, and the First Order.
